So funny! 😂 As you began talking, describing the Mice, I swear it sounded like you were reading a horror story! 😂 Seriously love your videos and thanks for the laughs-in-learning. 😊
Lisa, watching this video filled me with even more respect for the Lenormand system. These negative cards play such an important role in the full system of the cards! Without them, the Lenormand deck wouldn't be as powerful and helpful in providing advice, guidance, and warnings.
Very insightful, Oriole Aszme, and you're absolutely correct. Everything is energy and energy is constantly moving between potential and form - it's either static or dynamic. The positive and negative natures of the cards describe the states of energy and thereby allow us to see the past, present, and future (the future is based on probabilities created in the present). 🤓
Thanks, Lisa - When playing with my cards I got the mice & bear combination. I read it as a skin rash, which I had. Later on, I found out it was a rare skin disease, which isn't curable and covers a large area.
That was an excellent interpretation. Very good!!! I'm sorry to hear about the skin disease. I have a sister-in-law with psoriasis, which is also incurable.
@@lisaloveslenormand6357 After reading your comment, it occurred to me that the mice & bear also represent gut health. Diet is also the answer for flare-ups. The rash may settle in winter, but go crazy in the warmer months. Thank you for your kind words 💗💗
Hey, Lisa! I have a couple of quick questions. I am currently working towards publishing poetry to get my story out there. I don’t have enough to send out a manuscript, yet. I have 2 school aged children that demand a lot of time and attention so that makes it hard to focus on my writing at the moment. However, I saw a poetry contest where the first place winner will win $500. I wanted to immediately post one of my best poems and then I stopped myself. I haven’t copyrighted any of my work because I plan on publishing it. So I decided to do a two card reading. I asked “Is it a wise decision to copyright my poem before entering it into a contest?” And I got Bouquet - Mice (On a side note I always add the number of my cards in my reading to get extra insight.) So- Bouquet + Mice = Moon I interpreted this as Yes, because someone else will steal & take credit for my work. Does that sound like the correct interpretation to you? Yes/No questions can be tricky and at the time I couldn’t think of a way to word it for an advice reading. Lol I’m sorry I guess I lied because these aren’t quick questions. I’m writing a novel here! 😂 My next question is this : On publishing my poetry, do you recommend I go through a self-publishing agency or would I be better off doing this all on my own? I found a self-publishing company and it will be about $4,000. They handle the editing, design, printing & distribution. As someone who has gone through this, I value & trust your input. ☺️
How wonderful! A poet!!!! I LOVE teaching writers to use the cards! Ok, first of all, you really want to draw 3 cards for any question. Here, you have a nice offer or invitation that's being eroded by your worries. These 2 cards can say that you're spoiling something unnecessarily just as easily as they could be saying that something lovely that you want to share will be stolen. A third card would've given you the answer of what comes next. To me, it looks like the cards are simply responding to your concern but not answering the question. Secondly, you can't add up card numbers in Lenormand. It's a tarot technique and simply doesn't work with a deck that has only 36 cards. I have a link to an article on why it doesn't work in my book. Here it is: cartomancier.com/en/2018/03/18/numbers/ Thirdly, let's work on your question. Asking if something is a good idea or if a decision is wise can be very difficult to interpret - as you just discovered. Just ask for the outcome of an action and draw 3 cards and read them as a story. Try again and ask, what will the outcome be if I submit my poem without a copyright? For your next question, I am still using Bookbaby (a self-publishing company) for my second book because I don't have time to do everything myself (this is just a sideline for me). That price sounds about right for all those services. I learned a lot from Joanna Penn - mostly I learned that I just want to write and pay someone else to do the other stuff! LOL! www.thecreativepenn.com
@@lisaloveslenormand6357 thank you so much! And yes, poetry has always been a way for my emotional expression. Growing up, I learned certain emotions were seen as unacceptable - & I started bottling everything up so I could be “a good girl”. Once I was taught about poetry in elementary school, I discovered that I had a natural talent for expressing myself through rhymes… & that’s all she wrote! 😂 I have kept my work to myself all this time. Now I feel like it’s time to share it with the world! Thank you for helping me reword my question! I am going to work on that here in a little bit when I have some quiet time. I’ll also check out the article. AND look into Bookbaby. Thanks again and God Bless! 💜
@@MidnightCrow928 Wow! Our stories are similar. I discovered journaling and creative writing for the same reason and was told by every teacher I ever wrote anything for that I should be a writer (otherwise, I wouldn't have considered it a talent!) I LOVE nothing more than creative writing!!!!!!!!!! Keep writing your poetry - think of the legacy you'll be leaving behind! 🤠
