TheOrangex88 Yeah you're correct. Also I've reminded Captain Anderson said that even teenage people that survived the first wave were fighting alongside the alliance and military man.
Brutes are a krogan/turian hybrid... Interesting how the reapers thought of the differences in biology before merging when you read about them in your codex.
It was more due to the fact that vorcha can adapt to anything. Cut off water supplies, they adapt to take moisture from their food. Also, vorcha only submit when personally bested in single combat. Assuming I remember the Codex correctly, of course.
+Kartik Ayysola Didn't the reapers have to take over the vorcha from around the Vorcha planet's gracity orbit because they melted the reapers armor with their spitting acid?
Vorcha is hardly smart enough to worth harvesting in the first place. kill all other smarter races out there & watch the vorcha shrivel in the decades to come.
Vorcha are excellent warriors when it comes down to it but their nature makes them Beta males which is why they are willing to take orders so willingly from others.
Even by their 3rd game, Bioware still knew how to create fresh fantastic characters, even ones that were slipped in the middle as DLC. Call me selfish, but a sequel to Mass Effect 3 isn't something we just want. It really is something we need. One more game, not to end Shepard's story... But to send it off. The right way this time

Would love to see more of these conversations, especially this interesting dialog I heard happens between Javik and Tali, or Javik's comments after the Quarians and Geth make peace
That guys an idiot, her faith should have nothing to do with picking Ashley or Kaidan. One of the main reasons I did choose Kaidan over Ashley though is because of her racism/negative view towards other species - not that I blame her, given the circumstances. ..But given what Shepard had to do throughout all three games, it requires a certain level of trust that I think she lacks. And as a Spectre in ME3..like a less-extreme Saren. Plus, Kaidan was not only a superior officer but also a Biotic.
Ashley wasn't racist you idiot 🙄 She didn't trust them. Then again you like most people who play mass effect can't even comprehend much less understand the dog and bear metaphor she used to describe the Citadel Council and humanity and funny how she was proven right
The main part of Ashley's heavy distrust towards the alien races in the ME universe stems from one thing that happened to her family, her grandfather was General Williams who surrendered at Shanxi and as a result the superiors from then on had what was basically a vendetta against her family, keeping anyone from her family from rising in rank past what Ashley has achieved (and never giving a proper reason as to WHY the members of her family after Shanxi were given subpar postings or passed for promotion even though what they did meant that they should have been promoted) and her postings meant that she never really interacted with the ME races outside of humans either so that didn't help.
@TheJboy88 And actually Liara says in an in-game dialogue that the conquest of the Protheans lasted centuries, she also implies that the Prothean Empire was more vast than the Council is during the current cycle. I wouldn't mind for the next ME game to be a prequel where you play during the rise and fall of the Prothean Empire
A drell husk would probably be something like a phantom, an elcor would be like a mini brute, and the hanar would probably end up as floating biotic weapon platforms or something. I'd love to see what would happen to the yahg if the reapers had their way and continued the cycles
It is implied that the statues on Ilos are from a race from a previous cycle, before the Protheans. Javik even says that many of the cities on Ilos were found by the Protheans, not constructed by them.
@cigansky It also mentions in the codex the process of making the reaper out of a race. The husks just identify suitable candidates from those captured by 'tasting' them. The ones that qualify are sent to be slaughtered, and the ones that aren't are put to work to build slaughterhouses. They do this all while hunting down survivors and fighting back resistance movements across the planet.
Over the top? The most Ashley ever said about her faith was that she believed in God. And she was absolutely right about the Council, too. When the chips were down, they were happy to throw humanity to the wolves until Shepard came and saved them. Again.
@TheJboy88 I think the prothean VI on Ilos in ME1 (Vigil) talks about that.
