The Pals on the sanctuary respawn fairly quickly, and sometimes they're different. You WILL find Grizzbolt on a sanctuary island. You will find chests on the "appendages" of the sanctuary island. You didn't look hard enough 😉 Turn your PalBox different ways to see if you can build. It's "box" is kind of weird. If you build too close to a deposit, it won't respawn, so you might reconsider a base where you have the coal and ore. Yes, the tech manuals give you tech points. You get them out of the chests on the sanctuary islands. Fly all around, up, down, in, out, everywhere on those islands to find chests. Takes awhile, but it's well worth it SON OF A BISCUIT EATIN DOG!!! Say that real loud in a Southern accent and somehow it'll make sense 😂😂😂😂 Can you put pillars by the PalBox and build up and around? You left the trees because you said they looked cool. 15 minutes later you asked if they grew back 😅
I feel like the game design pushes you toward a big open base In honest I should have just had this place as a resource outpost I'm constantly forgetting about stuff or changing my mind 😆
@BigBossBam I deleted this because it sounded mean and I wasn't trying to be mean, but I'll say it, mostly because you're learning different. You have the wrong mentality about base building in PW. You build for you, which is correct in other games. But here, you have to build to accommodate your Pals and the way they move, eat, work, rest, etc. It's a different mindset.
You make this game look so much fun that I'm now considering playing it 😂 I suspect my builds would be terrible compared to yours though, I have zero imagination Your mic sounds good 👍🏻

@amberhines3979 nah, I get it, the big base is going to have a huge area for the pals to live and work and a separate area for me

Also I think if you take the pal box down with more than one platform you can build your box there

You can turn off deterioration in settings if you want to build outside the base perimeter
I really need to check the setti as out now I have some idea about the game, see how I can make some minot changes like that
