Thanks for watching the video Best Travel Golf Bag // Sun Mountain ClubGlider Review - Спорт
I work for an airline and use to be the ramp agent stacking bags. 2 tips. 1. Get to the airport to at least 2 hours prior to departure especially since you're checking your bag to ensure your bag gets on. 2. If you have a iPhone look into getting an AirTag to pair to your phone and put in the golf bag. Heaven forbid your bag gets lost/stolen you can locate your bag. Safe travels.
Great advise! Thank you 🙏🏻
Looks sturdy! Just hate on how notorious these airline bag handlers treat our travel bags..
I’ve been really fortunate in my travels and haven’t had anything break. The travel bag has held up great 👍🏻
Great review! I am looking for a travel bag. I'm going to Golftown!
Excellent review.
Thank you!
superb . 🤩
super dope! i know with my delta card i get a free checked bag too, which can be golf clubs as well. Last time I rented clubs because I was scared to travel with my own
what is a delta card?
@@dylanjohnson1861 amex but through delta. So flights with delta I get a free checked bag with the flight
Ive just subscribed, at the beginning of the video it shows you and your buddy, what clothing brands do you wear?
Thanks for the sub 👊🏻 In that intro slide it’s a Nike golf shirt. I wear a lot of different brands. Nike is at the top of the list. We’re actually making our own New Nine merch than will be of similar quality.
What Jordan's are those? Never seen them, but they look more comfortable than the Low 1s. Great review, just bought one for my upcoming trip! Had to return the first one from Amazon because one of the pop out wheels didn't spin freely, second one was fine. Thanks again!
They are called ST Trainers. They go for a pretty penny now if you can find them.
Will this accommodate a Tour Staff Bag (not Mid-Size). Would like one where I don't have to fold in the belly of the bag. Thanks!
I’m not 100% certain. It is large but I c ant say with certainty. It’s such a good travel bag I would email their customer service and ask. I know most touring pros use Club Glove.
great review. what jordan golf shoes are those?
Thanks! Jordan ST trainers.
I think this video seals the deal for this over the Club Glove for me. I've seen some reviews that say you can't really use a TSA lock on the main zipper. Is that true? Would be a bummer but probably not a deal-breaker.
I'm not sure to be honest. I don't even when use a lock anymore. TSA just cuts everything, even if it's a TSA lock. As for the bag goes. Ive used it on many trips, still using it and no complaints.
Ps - put an Air Tag in it so you know where your bag it. I just waited 2 hrs for a bag that didn’t make it on the plane.
@@NewNineGolf thanks so much for the info! Hope everything with the bag gets sorted quickly; that's the worst!
Do you use a support rod for this bag? I haven’t seen any mention of it.
Nope I don’t. I take my heads off my woods.
Looks like a dope bag, the price of convenience at eye watering $339
It’s really only $50-$100 more than cheaper alternatives and they aren’t even close in quality.
Should I upgrade my ten year old Golf Glove Travel Bag?
Do you think we need to buy a keylock for the golf travel bag?
If you do make sure it’s a TSA lock so they don’t cut it. I’d also recommend an apply tag or some type of gps tracker.
How did you not catch “my ball bag” ? Lol
Above my ball bag ;-o @5:00
What brand golf bag is that? Vessel?
Ya Vessel Dxr stand bag.
I know you mentioned you take off your heads for your driver, woods...etc. Should I be doing that, I am traveling with my clubs for the first time and hear people wrapping them in towels versus taking the heads off. I just want to make sure I do not end up at my location and my clubs are broken.
Just take the heads off your woods and you’ll be fine.I put the heads in their Headcover and into the side pocket of the golf bag.
What do you do with the shafts?
@BrandonKrieger keep them in the golf bag
@@NewNineGolf how do you take the head of your driver?
@lovebantoto your drive should have come with a wrench to take it off the shaft. Unless your driver is 15ish or more years old
The only bag worth having is the one that the airline doesn’t lose
Put a tracking tile in your travel bag and you’ll always know where it is.
That’s not been helping people as someone still needs to be there to recover it
At least you know where it is 🤷♂️ I’ve travelled with my clubs over 40 times and haven’t lost them yet but I feel for people who have.
Which size is this?
Meridian
How do you protect your iron heads?
No need once the irons are secured in the travel bag.
@@NewNineGolf don't they still bounce around and knock each other?
Not as much as you’d think. You can wrap a towel around them. I’ve never had noticeable damage in my years travelling
I have some nosey ass neighbors in my apt building, would these work to carry out my long rifles?
He said ball bag!
😂
Is this guy getting money from Sun Mountain to sound so bullish or is it just the reality of how good this bag is? Sounds almost to good to be true + there are so many liars on the tube, it's difficult to figure out sometime
I am most definitely not. Watch some of my other videos if you think this is biased. I try my best to be fully transparent. I’ve owned so many golf travel bags over the years and this one is so much better it’s not even close. I travel at least 10x a year with my clubs and they have never been easier to lug around the airport/hotels than with the club glider.
@@NewNineGolf Thanks a lot for your honesty. I just placed an order. Wish you well.
Happy Travels! You won’t be disappointed
I've had this bag for at least 3 years - was afraid the legs might not hold up. Wrong - love this bag and I travel with my clubs always. Now trying to pack it and stay under the 33 lb limit in South Africa!
Airlines don’t allow more than 50 pounds in the golf bag.
Depends on the airline.
@@NewNineGolf of course it does but most domestic airlines adhere to to the 50lb. rule.
I've never had an issue. 🤷♂️
@@NewNineGolf Right, of course u haven’t. 🙄
Way overpriced! The pop-up leg wheel is unique.
Once you own one, you won’t consider it over priced. I’ve owned 5 different travel bags. No even one of them comes close to how good this travel bag is.
