I remember when L 26 rolled up and immediately went to work. Like immediately, I've never seen any group of people freak out to the point where they're working warp speed. I swear I think they all had mini heart attacks . . . real deal, it was super chilling.
Wow, I remember this as if it was yesterday. I was almost done taking an Algebra test in my school and I looked up at the time and it was 9:29 a.m. Two minutes later, my class and I heard a loud explosion and the school shook a bit. I looked out of the windows of the classroom with my friends and I saw the gray cloud which was the explosion cloud rising in the air. And then a lot of smoke started rising. Some people thought it was a bomb, but I thought it was just an explosion. I'll never forget that day..... R.I.P to the several people who died that day.
@@dv1267 Nah, that was the East Village gas explosion 1 year later. This explosion, in Harlem, was due to poor welding by the gas provider Con Edison. They had to pay a settlement of $150 million.

Great job by the dispatcher.
Yes he was great
He was acting like it was a normal fire
I guess it is quite off topic but do anybody know of a good website to watch newly released series online?
@Dayton Devin Flixportal
@Hezekiah Abdiel Thanks, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) I appreciate it!!
Engine 76, never answered the radio, called several times by Manhattan CO
Unreal ....
WE CAME IN FROM THE BATTERY PARK TUNNEL FROM A 1075 BOX!
Never understood this. Why didn't they send members to check 118th street? This was the actual location not 114.
116th was the location, not 118th. And the location was updated within 4 min once L-26 arrived on scene.
If you know that area making a u-turn there is not easy. That viaduct is nuts.

@ Stormviation
How did the class do with the test? Did the teacher grade the test with a curve?
the dispatcher cool as a cucumber
Yeah they usually are man, listen to any major emergencies
@@FlipSwitchGamesOfficial if I was one I would still be in fear
Did they find out what actually caused the explosion yet?
Gas explosion, probably a ruptured gas line.
They illegally branched off the main coming in the building , shit shoddy work , also highly illegal as the person wasn’t qualified to do it
I think the owner and owners son was criminally charged.
