What Glynis has once again highlighted is that she is the only person in Parliament who has knowledge and experience in the portfolio that she is responsible for. The rest of the MP’s don’t and that’s the fundamental problem. Imagine running a company with heads of dept with no knowledge of how their depts operate, how they interface with other depts and the changes made in 1 impacts on others.

Leaders are specifically and intentionally raised up while those who have fallen short of their entrustment are laid low … that which has been hidden in the dark continues to be exposed to the light of day and their stubborn arrogance and refusal with contempt to accept any responsibility emboldens them NOT to hang their heads in shame despite been shamed before 60 million people !

How insulated you must be to a.) Think that somebody recording dockets into a "cloud" block chain would be fool proof. b.) that legislation can just be passed based at the merit of concept alone. c.) that simply proposing such said ideas is a solution to SAfricas woes. How can it be overlooked that dockets go missing all the time in SAfrica (can't capture that which cannot be captured) and that Bad Faith actors would act in good faith? In both legislation situations, it requires a Will to adopt any proposals, but how do you enforce a "Will" that is entirely skewed by a majority "Party Line View". The reality is that it doesn't because it gets "Blocked". I also chose the words "insulated" intentionally and carefully because how can one in 2023 not recognize that SAfrica has become an entirely corrupted state. From The highest echelons of "Dollars in couches" to the lowest of "cleaners" remaining silent of "their own personal involvement in wrong doings" at the motivation of a few thousand Dollars more "in cash and tax free" from the already corrupted Elite. The truth is there is literally no space in SAfrica that the Criminal Enterprise ANC has not got their hands on. Including and not exclusive to the Entire Justice system otherwise why would one even question "why have the criminal elite not found justice?". No, my friends the only Solution is to Vote strategically in such a way that will remove a criminal entity from our halls of Governance. STOP VOTING FOR CRIMINALS.

People ask how Thabo Bester escaped. We must remember that a TV cabinet was brought into the prison. This cabinet brought in the body that was later burned, so it looked like Bester. Then the same box was likely to have been used to carry Bester out, so cameras never picked this up.

I think Kanthan's comment that the US removed al Bashir cause the Russians wanted a military base requires qualification. America not being happy about it therefore equalling overthrowing the regime because of it, would require some evidence. Like many flippant conspiracies tossed around, they deny local agency. Bashir was unpopular for years and there were months of protests prior to overthrow.

ONE VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION Mr Pillay asked which has not been addressed "what is the per capita cost per prisoner within POPS and APOPS in relation to that of inmates in DCS" I would very much like to hear the answer.
How about creating a penal colony in the Northern Cape, far away from everything. Give the prisoners tents and do food drops on a periodic basis. The ANC cabinet should be there too and can run the colony. Then at last the ANC can govern criminals instead of lording it over civil society.

So with the fines that you should be ging to G4S (at least 3 months of income) you can build 2 new prisons easily that will be much better than what we have now. 135mill should cover that.
