The man shouldn't have been given an audience. He is totally devoid of credibility. There is no sugar coating his profile. He was twice busted for PEDs. He blamed one of his
positives on a disgruntled massage therapist and has never recanted his story. This is despite classifying himself as born again Christion . To be Christian one has to
      atone for one sins.
He was using PEDs when he and his training partner Shawn Crawford won the 100M and 20M at the Olympics. They were both pupils of the infamous coach, Trevor
Graham. A camp that contained Balco clients such as Marion Jones and former 100M world record holder Tim Montgomery.
Justin Gatlin's lying lips have not been inactive. In a recent interview he stated the controversial Miss Sha'Carri Richardson recorded times of 10.5 for 100M in training.
This hasn't been collaborated by either the athlete or her coach. Why make such false disclosures? If Miss Richardson recording a times of 10.5 it would a have been all over the news. It has never
been reported that the elite Jamaican female sprinters were recording times of 10.5 in training. And they are much faster and possess more talent than Miss Richardson.
Reference was made of Gatlin's contribution to T&F. That has to be viewed in context. After his 4 years ban. He returned running faster than any sprinter his age category. And
was much faster than when he was in his twenties. His performances were not dissimilar to those of Flo Jo, Michael Johnson and Carmelita Jeter. The aforementioned
three discovered the fountain of youth very late in their careers. All 3 were enhanced to the skies.
When Mr. Gatlin retires he will leave a stain of T&F similar to the one left by Flo Jo. Just as his interview will leave a stain on this forum. I am big fan of Mr. Levy but I am
grossly disappointed that he chose to provide this tainted athlete with yet another forum for him to leave his stain.
NB: The 18 upvotes so far suggests ingnorance of Justin Gatlin's history on the part of the voters.

@@HMcdon Respect and forgiveness must be earned. Neither should easily given, particularly to those who are unrepentant. This tainted man doesn't seek forgiveness but rather acceptance. His lies about Sha'Carri Richardson recording 10.5 on multiple occasions were uttered 12 years or more after his lies about his massage therapist. The man has been living a lie for a very long time. Folks who entertain such people, further enables them. My forgiven is for the worthy. I hate to admit but some folks are beyond redemption.
      NB:
There should never be acceptance where there should be disgust - Mark Plamer

Hitchens. His most thought provoking quote is as follows - 'That which can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.'

Every man deserves a second chance at redemption and *Justin Gatlin* is no different.
We shouldn't be judged based on our fall, but instead celebrated on our rise from such depths. *Justin* have paid his dues and represented our nation and the world with class and honor against the great *Usain Bolt.*
Seeing *Usain* coming to *Justin's* defense was and still one of the most emotional moments 😢 I have ever seen. It brought tears to my eyes, because it's like a prodigal son being accepted back into the fold by his most celebrated younger brother.
We all got to understand that these athletes are human beings with feelings who feel pain just like everyone else. Regardless of nationality we must treat these athletes with much care and empathy, not with vitriol and hatred.
So *Justin* we thank you sir, for your exceptional career and dedication to our sport. As you near the end of a stellar career, you're most worthy and deserving of all the flowers 💐 🙌 you have received. Bless up and keep on inspiring 🇺🇸🙏🇯🇲

Why are you comparing their dedication and why are you here putting Bolt down anyway? It doesn't matter whether or not who was dedicated, because it's all about what happened on the day. What would have happened then if Bolt was dedicated as Gatlin as you put's it? Gatlin and the rest probably would not even bother to think about competing, because they would have no chance. Justin has always been an athlete that I respect. He's right when he said many people would have crumbled, I seriously don't know how he did it. I was so sad for the youngster, I really think they were bashing him too much. Even being boed at the starting of a race really he's one of the best. As a matter of fact put championship wins and w.r aside he's right their with Usain with great mental power and capacity to stay on top no matter what. More powers to you Justin!!! Keep on teaching.

Gatlin truly one of the best sprinters we have seen. on Usian..."he brought the best out of me..." If Usain did not exist, Gatlin would be a strong contender for the title of best sprinter. wish him well...

Wow, wonderful interview. You can see that he love and respect his Jamaican competitors. Usain has left a void in the sport and he certainly will too. I'm not seeing the fire on the track anymore (in the men's race that is). All the best Gatlin
