The in-stadium timer is often not fully correct and the time is often adjusted to what the official time is. If you watch Usain Bolt's 19.19, you'd see that the in-stadium clock originally said '19.20' but then changed to '19.19'. In Jamaica it appears to be a bit more off (9.73 -> 9.77) but that's why. I wish they could get the in-stadium clocks to always be 100% correct because then everyone knows instantly whether it's a world record, etc. (e.g. Sydney McLaughlin's 50.67 in-stadium time from yesterday was changed to 50.65 officially, but it might've been changed to 50.69 - missing the world record).
Idk abt bolt, but he seems to resemble more of a prime yohan in terms of his raw explosiveness & body built.. but i can see why ppl compare him to bolt bcuz he genetically gifted but yohan was aswell
I was watching the timing sheet as the 400m hurdles was live I thought this is looking quick and I honestly thought that the 50.65 was for the final hurdle not the finish line... she wouldve qualified for the mens 400m hurdles semi finals with that time let alone the womens flat 400m.... Incredible stuff.
kostadinova was even younger than machouchikh when she got the world record at 21 years old by jumping 2.08 m , and then she broke her own world record at 2.09 m at 22 years old, we'll see if mahouchikh can break her own world record at 2.11m at 2022 paris olympics or later before she retires.

"FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE"!?!?!?😂🤣🤣😂
Idk abt bolt, but he seems to resemble more of a prime yohan in terms of his raw explosiveness & body built.. but i can see why ppl compare him to bolt bcuz he genetically gifted but yohan was aswell
He is literally just asafa with an unpolished form but better mentality
I was watching the timing sheet as the 400m hurdles was live I thought this is looking quick and I honestly thought that the 50.65 was for the final hurdle not the finish line... she wouldve qualified for the mens 400m hurdles semi finals with that time let alone the womens flat 400m....
Incredible stuff.
She would also have won the Swedish men’s 400 hurdles championship (which took place this weekend).
@@morefring8996 nice stat 🙂
Christian Coleman will be in the 4 * 100 finals at the Olympics. He has one of the best starters in the world.
kostadinova was even younger than machouchikh when she got the world record at 21 years old by jumping 2.08 m , and then she broke her own world record at 2.09 m at 22 years old, we'll see if mahouchikh can break her own world record at 2.11m at 2022 paris olympics or later before she retires.
My personal honorable mention (aka worth a damn) goes to Parker Valby :)
Awesome she made the team haha.
@@JumpmanTF yeh, and the race itself was so tight!
Bolt level talent is a serious stretch though
You will soon find out what is a stretch
@@brobro6783 How soon? Olympics this year soon?
He beats everyone right now and has a 9.6 in his locker.
@@hearmenow909 so a Yohan level talent at best?
Akera Nugent ran 12.28s to win in Jam minutes before Masai.
Jamaica wi deyah!
THROWING MENTIONED LETS GO. Also Yaime Perez isn’t even going to be at the Olympics because she defected from Cuba so doesn’t really have a country to compete for right now
Edit: I understand why they weren’t mentioned in the video, but shout out to the men’s discus and hammer throw in America where we had probably the deepest final in the history of the US in each event
This sucks for Yaime! She should be allowed to compete for non-Nations or Neutral flag or some shit!
At least let her represent South Sudan or a Pacific Island state like Nauru.
@@barath4545 💀💀 yeah I agree. The throwsuniversity people who she trains with have said that they’re trying to get her in as a neutral athlete, but they haven’t said anything about that being successful so I am not confident she’ll actually get to compete
Didnt know that about perez. Gutted she wont compete but she clearly made a decision more important to her than sport.
All eyes will be on him in Paris, if he doesn't win gold, it will be a big disappointment.
Jah-make-yah!
Zhoya’s block literally exploded
Only saw that today!
How come he wasn't featured in the Netflix documentary Sprint?
hes up and coming this year, he'll be in the next one for sure.
I don't see the Asafa comparison, especially not in the first 50m.
First 30 no, but top end, form, relaxation and build.
1:59 1 second faster than BOLT
Sydney and Mondo are just examples of pure dominance. Those records will not be broken for a long time or may NEVER be broken.
Hope Jamaica get both 100m. Just doesn't like the cocky American athlete in that both women and men 100
HAVING WATCH JAMAICAN TRIALS 100m men I felt like I was watching THE FLASH(Kishane Thompson) being unleashed on us str8 outta S.T.A.R Labs (MVP) and SILAS STONE(Stephen Francis) is now the most hated man in US track and field ( for them he’s Doctor Alchemy) 🔥🔥🔥🇯🇲🇯🇲
Best world wide report yet, thanks…even though I sense a bit of anti-USA sentiment 😢…all in good fun though…
You are so use to the bias towards USA that you can't see that it's balanced commentary
Hardly worldwide, usa domination haha. It is all in good fun, usa makes this sport go around.
Goood Laaawd have mercy
There appears to be a lot of muscle size on Kishane Thompson, a lot of muscle size....
Most of the fastest 100m athletes we muscular.
Bro you lost me when you Shericka was struggling😅
Talk to me when he runs outside his 3 events this year.... INSIDE Jamaica....
I think Jamaica will upset for the 100m men's at Paris.
i mean would it even be an upset? they have the guy with the world lead
Not sure if it's an upset if a Jamaican wins. It would be historic if either win, because they'd only be the second Jamican man ever to win an Olympic gold medal in the 100m
Didn’t powell and bolt get medals
@@GardenChesskey word win, not medal
@@GardenChessPowell only has relay gold.
I think we have to wait for the Olympics before we crown dude it's one race my guy. He's got to be tested a few times first.
Take 9.58 ...please break 19.19 too..and 42.8????
@@timn4481 is it not history that comes along when you least expect it ? 1968 Olympic performances Kennedy assassinations Germany invades Poland...FFS you sound dim
@@timn4481lyles is not very far from the 200m record😭 might I remind you bolt also had a 19.3 before he ran 19.19
Trust we didn’t even know we had him!! He just popped up… his coach hid him.. now it’s time to unleash him to the world
Don't say we say you
@@roylle6346 Exactly...I saw this guy like 2-3 years ago in a 200m where I confused him for Miguel Francis.
@@Ricky2clean Hid him? He has been competing and never put up that low of numbers. I wouldn't doubt that Jamaica doctors are working in the stem cell research for performance enhancement. It cannot be tested for, atleast for now. Jamaica has a population less than Iowa but keep coming up with the fastest sprinters in the world. That typically doesn't happen by chance.
Will America sweep the 200m?...👀
Probably, only Tebogo/Hughes seems likely to challenge, though I have hopes for a bronze from Brian Levell...Level up!
@@StGCfiLife Nobody should underestimate the young African.
Tebogo will be the decider
@@StGCfiLife tebogo sure. hughes aint doing shit
Let me be clear shericka was only trying to qualify 😂 she was just jogging 😂
That Josh Kerr race made me pretty upset. He competed in a distance that wasn’t really even his own and not only did he fall, but he took down another athlete with serious potential of making the team. I don’t like that at all.
Kerr was obstructed by Giles inexplicably stepping towards the pole line, left arm down: just as Kerr was accelerating.
