I sleep 7 hours and I wake up natually at 6:15. I don’t know how it happens it just does and then I feel super energized. I used to feel super tired but it like happened overnight.
1)Try to not eat too much before bed. 2)Don’t do anything that raises your temperature/HR close to bed (I.e. exercises, cold showers.) 3) make sure you don’t use your bed/room for anything else than sleep(this creates a strong subconscious association between sleep and bed) 4) no nicotine close to bed (studies show lower quality sleep for smokers.) These are just basic sleep hygiene guidelines. Other factors could lead to lower quality sleep. (I.e. poor mental health, poor physical health, stress, poor diet and nutrient deficiencies )
Why can I be so conscious and aware that even while sleeping any little sound or light and I’m awake. I don’t think it’s possible for me to go into a deep long sleep unless I’m medicated and in a cold dark quiet controlled environment.
try to use some noise to sleep but if you have really poor quality of sleep try to sleep at something that comfotable and if you have to wake at exact time but you only get tiny amount of time to sleep,sleep where it is uncomfotable
Can you explain this? Once I had a dream of the first day of school. I woke up in the dream, got ready and went to school. Soo then I woke up and felt SO normal. My body is usually stiff. My mum was next to me, getting my clothes ready and I asked her if I moved a lot. She said ‘not really’ so yeah. Edit: I was energetic when I woke for the first time in my life.

Any tips for airline pilots? I love love what I do. But there is no denying I didn't manage it well for a while. Advent of screens made it worse. Especially once the studying I'm required to do went on the iPad. Now I'm treating my apnea and doing ok- but always looking for better sleep "hygiene" Love the channel and appreciate these videos.

Since you play sport lets assume you are not overweight Obvious Things that could affect you 1. Using phone to sleep (eye) 2. Having sinus problem (stuffy nose/ mouth breather) 3. Eating food before sleeping 4. Do you even get 8hr sleep from 12pm?
Less obvious 1. Yes sleep time do matter optimally 9-10 but can differ. Also make sure your room is as dark as possible 2. Obese / hperthyroid 3. Noisy /disturbed sleep( external). 4. Too hot or too cold? 5. Dont sleep if you woke up to sleep 5more minutes

One of the main factor that effects your sleep is lighting. Make sure to have a very very dark room while you go to bed for a deep sleep :)

No caffeine no alcohol and sleep at 9:30 wake up at 6:00 and waje upp sooooo tiredd😢
