There's Neil Peart, there's Gene Hoglan, there's Dave Lombardo, there's Phil Collins. But this is my absolute favorite drum track ever recorded in any genre. And Andy was freaking 17 years old when this was recorded.
couldn't agree more!!!! This is pure genius, the song is the best one recorded ever in the history of modern music, and also, the whole album. It should have sold gazillions!!!!
Death Angel fawkin rule.. Amazimg too think that most of the band was like 14-15 when their first stuff came out.. And they could hang with bands like Death and Metallica at that age.. Absolute savages
@@jesseelwell9107 No, Andy was the youngest one in the band. But they were all under 20 years old when they recorded the debut album. Andy was just 14.
I love that so many people are giving a shout out to ACT III (1990). I swear that it falls on deaf ears, whenever I try to pump it up but I just finished sharing the video for, "A Room With A View". "Discontinued" is probably my favourite tune from this album.
Death Angel!!!!! I saw them live at the Fillmore in San Francisco when they opened for Metallica! I won a contest from the Metclub. Only 400 people were there!
One of the best albums of all time. Simply amazing! It switches between different moods so effortlessly while maintaining the drive forward. I'm not sure what to call this, progressive thrash?! Masterpiece.
