Messiah Marcolin (vocals) of Candlemass was one of the major characters of metal in the 80's... such a distinct image and vocals of a church choir singer. It's a pity he was not involved consistently w/ Candlemass for whatever reasons... left in the early 90's... left again in the 2000's...
Love me some Candle mass. Some of my personal faves Sorcerer's Pledge Samaritan Dark are the Veils of Death Darkness in Paradise Bearer of Pain Under the Oak
Hurm, please react to Candlemass - "At the Gallow's End". I suppose it's one of their more "popular" tracks as it landed on The Best of Metal Blade Volume 3 back in 1988, which was a compilation album of various hardcore metal band/tracks that "didn't have a snowball's chance in hell" of being played on the radio back then in the vast majority of major U.S cities. Metal Blade records have become very respected in the metal community these days because they basically rolled the dice pouring tens of thousands of promotional dollars on these (at the time) "underground" bands like Slayer, Metal Church, Lizzy Borden, Trouble, and Fates Warning. These aforementioned bands had to work MUCH harder than other "commercial friendly" hard rock / hair metal bands getting their music to the people, and could use all the help they could get.
You look like the singer in this song. Messiah Marcolin without the big and curly hair. I have been watching your Maiden reactions and really enjoy them 👍 Maiden and Candlemass are two of my favorite bands along with Kamelot (react to this band too)
Hey man! This is a reupload right? Couse I remember seeing a reaction to another song on this album! :-) Anyways... would be brilliant to see your reaction to the music video of "Bewithched" by Candlemass. In my opinion a superb song, but the video is a true meme generator. Super goofy in a lovely way. Directed by Jonas Åkerlund, one of the worlds most revered music video directors.

It's like stoner metal. Don't forget to blow out the candles, lol.
