They complemented each other with Timo. With Johan they are ultimate Ayreon live guitars/bass team :D We've attended Sunday Matinee show and it was awesome!
Arjen wanted a more soulful player for the solos since that's more of a prog, slightly less metal album - but generally I agree with you!
Maggy has such a phenomenal and unique voice. Awesome to hear her singing with Brittney.
NO DOUBT!!! I'm so glad to see her back on such a huge stage. She always delivers, whether Ayreon, solo or with the Prize

Britney sounds better on Arjens projects than in her band. RtA is just another Powermetal band without "the thing". She was a suitable replacement for Floor there.
@@OzziemandiasPL Gotta hard disagree about UTA. Abyss and Apex are stellar albums, with the former winning a Juno (Canadian Grammy) for best metal album. HIGHLY recommend you take a sit down and listen to Abyss at the very least, it really isn't "just another power metal band." They have absolutely have "the thing" these days lol.
@@jellis222 will do. That was my personal feeling, but TBH based only on things I've seen/heard on YT. Her "role" in 01(...) Live was specific and I'm "a little" biased by Ayreon concept.
My first contact with metal music (I'm not counting Metallica) was Power Metal and I think I'm tired of those new bands performing "just OK".
@@OzziemandiasPL Totally fair! I think you might be surprised with something like Abyss though. It mixes so many elements together that it goes far beyond the typical power metal sound. There's pop, soft rock moments, black metal elements, very non typical arrangements all over the place, etc. Don't worry, I got a bit sick of the standard power metal sound too lol. I'd rather not have all my bands sound almost identical.

Hi, it was about 2 and half hours.
With opening/Arjens speech and some extras after "01(...)" tracklist it was more than 2,5h of pure magic :D

Apparently Mike mills coming out asking for no one to record it doesn't mean a darn thing. To me, i know im gonna get hated on, but it disrespects Arjen in my opinion.
It's fine. These recordings just great in my opinion, and hardly people recording at all.

For me it was bad for all those phones above heads on Sunday Matinee, when the show was recorded. Other days - thats fine, it wasn't such a big deal. But lots of recorded material (of the crowd) will be discarded 'coz those who didn't respected Mike's words on this particular one show. I was standing near the stage (to the right from the center) and two guys held their phones above their heads like almost all time :/
@@OzziemandiasPL have not seen much phone use. At other concerts it's wayy worse. Normally when it start to get annoying is nicely ask the involved person to lower their phone.
@@paradoxical81 as I wrote, there were 2 guys in front of me with constant over-the-head phones making photos and recordings. Don't know how it was deeper in the crowd.
@@OzziemandiasPL I saw 1 person taking a 30 second video,that was it. Saturday noon show.
