I still cannot wrap my head around how good this show turned out. Everyone just killed it with their performances! The sound was crystal clear and the visual FX and pyrotechnics really added to an already magical experience. Truly a once in a lifetime event.

Thank you so much for filming and uploading this. It's nice to see familiar faces again. But the design of the stage is disappointing, it resembles scaffolding and I don't like the idea of placing Joost and backing singers so high up.
It is better when you see the panels in the background. And singers go up and down those platforms, so songs can get very dynamic. Specially when there are more than 5 singers at once.
Whether this stage setup "works" or not is very much depending on your position hence your viewing angle. I was on the balcony in the back and almost exactly in the middle and thus perpendicular in front of the stage. From that position it looked stunning. From a non-perpendicular angle the visual aspect doesn't come across unfortunately. The amount of lights and LED screens was insane. From the balcony looking down the lasers also looked fantastic. The only drawback for me (high up on the balcony) was that the backing vocalists were standing too high and the view on their faces was blocked by the light rigging on the ceiling. From a lower standpoint this would not be a problem though.
Why not honor the wishes of the venue and artists? No phones was their request, I didn't touch mine for 3 hours. And I wait patiently for the release on DVD/ BluRay.
I enjoyed my afternoon in Tilburg and I will still buy the Blue Ray as this is just a phone recording from the side so it doesn't block people's view. I think It gives a chance to all the people across the world who couldn't make it, get a glimpse of those 5 shows.
@@lucelo2112 exactly the point why the band asked not to record, as the live show is recorded professionally and will be available later. both on blue ray as entire show but I imagine arjen will also release them high quality on his youtube like he did with the universe show the mere fact that humans are selfish, and want their fix instantly does not approve the recording and release of this video. it just proves the point that humans will do whatever they can to get their fix even if it's low quality, or goes against the band or other interests.
@@saelfaer Do you know how much an Ayreon Blu-ray costs here in Brazil? Still with the taxes they charge us? Those who live in another country have easy access to this material and there won't be a full show on UA-cam, just a few songs.

It didn’t just resemble it, it WAS scaffolding.

I live in Brazil and I didn't have the chance to go to this show, here it's much harder to buy Ayreon's music.
