Thank you for your videos I’ll use to travel alone in 2010 to Cambodia rent the whole day a tuktuk riding around Angkor Wat it was safe and peaceful trip . I love Cambodia people are kind and humble heart .
Thanks for showing Cambodia and I agreed with you people still have the mindset of cambodia as not safe or during the war time. I felt completely safe but just like any countries you need to be mindful of your surrounding especially when you are travelling by yourself.
Very nice video. You have a very nice relaxed way about you. Siem Reap is very safe; Cambodia is very safe generally but I guess as a single female traveller you need to take care of your safety.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching my video! I wouldn't know that if I haven't travelled there because it's a place less travelled by my family and friends~ really lovely country
Thank for visiting my country 😊Actually there alot of interesting tourist sites to visit in Cambodia besides Siem Reap, Angkor wat or Phnom Penh city. Those locations haven't heard by many foreigner yet, just only local people know. Anyway enjoy your trip 😊
Thanks for visiting Cambodia. I’m curious, what are the stories that you were told about Cambodia that caused Singaporeans and Malaysians to not visit Cambodia? 10:25
Hello! Thank you for watching! There’s a lot of scams that has been happening and they recruit people from Malaysia and Singapore to Cambodia and drove them to a scam centre and prison them to work for them. www.channelnewsasia.com/asia/malaysia-cambodia-anwar-ibrahim-hun-sen-job-scam-syndicate-3376821?cid=internal_sharetool_iphone_03112023_cna www.channelnewsasia.com/cna-insider/duped-business-development-job-scam-syndicate-malaysian-victim-cambodia-3434171?cid=internal_sharetool_iphone_03112023_cna There’s quite a lot of news on this 🥲
@@_LuckyLynn yeah with the influx of chinese businesses / criminal activity its very common all over places such as myanmar and its unfortunate alot of cambodians are being recruited as accomplices too as its easy money, im hearing alot of gang related activities are on the rise as well where as prior there were no gangs in cambodia until the influx of chinese casino projects etc. The govt is doing alot to try shut it down, from shutting down infrastructure projects with the chinese, frequent raids in call centres, deporting chinese nationals related to criminal activities.
Happy you arrived safely and enjoyed your first day in Siem Riep Cambodia. I will give this location a chance of being my new permanent home when I arrive from Germany next year and looking forwards to this new adventure. I also considered Malasia but unfortunately the conditions a foreigner needs to satisfy to qualify for a 1 year retirement Visa are much higher in Malaysia and also Thailand have set the threshold much higher for me to consider which is a shame because I have friends in both.
Hello Mckayuk! Thanks for watching my video and yes, consider Cambodia as your permanent home! Oh! How long are you planning to stay in Malaysia? Have you tried applying through MM2H (Malaysian My 2nd Home)* www.imi.gov.my/index.php/en/main-services/malaysia-my-second-home-mmh2-en/ Hope you'll be able to make it! :)
Omg you're so cute! South-east asians kinda resemble eachother, so yeah you'd easily pass as khmer and maybe vice-versa? I need to travel there, and I hope Malaysia too one day.
Hi! I brought some USD and some Riel currency with me, highly recommend you to bring USD cash only as it’s the most requested currency there from what I observe. They did accept cards in the restaurant/bigger shops but mostly cash for the flea markets!:)
