  • Mark Marino leads a team of dedicated craftsmen in building a flying replica of a 100-year-old aircraft that is credited with being the world's first heavier-than-air commercial airliner. The Lark of Duluth was the centerpiece of a festival in Duluth in 1913, so upon the replica's completion 100 years later, Mark hosted another festival in its honor. Duluth, Minnesota; July 2013.

    Can you say when this video was shot (I can see when it was uploaded). I'm trying to figure out whether this was before or after the incident in which this was heavily damaged.

      Hi Bob Collins , This video was produced in July 2013, before as the first flight testing was getting underway. About a week after this filming, they had the incident, made repairs and changes, then brought the aircraft to Oshkosh 2014. - Brady
