I have the rm250 e-start kit on my 2002 and I probably wouldn’t recommend it. I've hade it for around 50 hours and just like any e-start it struggles to start in the cold but even on days when it's not cold some times it just won't start the bike, so I don't think this kit is super reliable. So definitely don't take of the stock kickstart esembily because you definitely need it as a backup unless you want to bump start it every other ride. My bike is bored out to a 265 so that could have something to do with it but I don't think it makes that much of a difference from stock.

Hi you can youse lightning stator for recharing battery. you just need to buy rectifire i believe.... Anyway nice build.. Im curently waiting for my starter kit too. I have rm 250 2006 and i riding really nasty enduro stuff .....

I love the estart kit is available for this build and several others - will definitely give us older riders a shot in the arm to keep 2 strokes pn the track !! I wonder what it would take to get one for my 92 KTM mx 500 - talk about awesome 😊 Charles you and your team never disappoint - incredible seeing these Older bikes get a second ahot at life with modern technology - man this is just amazing and thank you for sharing your intelligence with us all !!!!

That sounds like too much weight for the flywheel. I guess its been tested by panthera though, will be interesting to see how you feel about it.
