@@flamecrew9atroblox958 Dont give up mate, you can play some nice stuff with just the basic chords and if you work at it you will learn fast! This particular stuff is pretty easy and sounds great. Marcos style is very nice on the ears:) Here he is playing some basic chords, but in different positions from the standard way of playing them at the top of the neck. Take an E minor as he uses here for example, he is playing it in one of the many places on the neck other than standard. Any given chord can be played in many ways other than standard, but that is for later on after you learn to play the basic 7 odd chords at the top of the neck.[major chords] Though this particular chord progression is pretty easy anyway even the way Marco is playing it. Its all about practice practice!! UA-cam is a great resource full of tutorials that were certainly not available when i learned to play 46 odd years ago! Back then it was listen, then hunt out the chords:) Being able to watch finger positions in a music vid makes it much easier. Just dont give up and it will come if you work at it. Noone is expert to start with! We all have to go through the same time learning and practicing:)
You are one of the best Guitarist that I've ever come across!! You fingerstyle guitar videos made me wanna play Guitar again!! Thank you so much!! God bless you and your family!!
Marco, you are arguably my favorite of all the guitar virtuosos I find online. I’ve reached a renaissance in my playing and I’ve learned a few of your songs already. I can’t wait to learn this one. Also your beautiful hand made Furch is similar to my vintage cedar mahogany Taylor that I am enamored with. Thank you so much for these videos!
Beautiful composition. I enjoyed learning it, and love playing it. I played around with it using an EOB sustainer strat which I found was really evocative
One more lesson so many more happy souls! I am no musician or an intermediate but your lessons motivated and inspired me to play guitar again! Thanks a ton Marco.......Love From India❤️❤️❤️
@@akbhardwaj6238 Go for a Taylor mate. Very nice with a 44mm nut. A touch of extra space instead of the usual 42 that is way too tight for me. I also have a Tanglewood Sundance Performance Pro which is just GREAT value for money at a bit under 2000 bucks AUD. It has a 43mm nut. "Just" wide enough for me:) It sounds beautiful, and has great playability. A nice low, soft action.
Really nice music Marco , to be on your Patreon is a must and Thanks to you for your awesome work .It is always great to learn and progress on guitar from you Maestro .Salutations from Montréal Canada !
I just wonder how beautiful your soul is to compose such a melodious tune, we all can learn it though with so much of effort that you put in your video, but just wandering your thought process and creativity.. God bless and stay safe , Love Sanjeev
you've got that acoustic plugged in, right? I can't get my regular acoustic to switch notes without a staccato effect when playing different notes, so that's normal? not ringing out when doing 8ths or 4s?
Thanks so much , this is so awesome - im very happy you share your wonderful talent n music - its a pleasure as always to learn from you - i d love to learn n play this for me n my family in private - its a delight n enrichment - grateful greetings from your fan rainer ^^
Hi, Marcos! I was wondering which course of yours would better suit someone who just got into playing music, loves fingerstyle and has just bought a classical (nylon string) guitar. You have sooooo many courses on your website and they all seems great, but I'm not sure which one would be the best choice for me. A little background: before buying the classical guitar, I had a concert ukulele. I've been playing the Uke for around 6 months. I can strum a couple of songs and do some fingerpicking, albeit not perfectly.
this...and 1 other of yours i work on DAILY and for WEEKS, not getting far but it's enjoyable but 4-fret stretches are hard. I know how to read a tab BUT not fast, having to count strings and frets constantly, this visual artist is struggling BUT, BUT the PLAYGROUNDS you play around with (and bring us into them) helps me to play FURTHER and experiment. NOW, is your course one that takes you from A-K and not jump around, to get there? I need something to make this process easier and i feel i'm missing some steps. I know you started early so are you going to bring beginners into that also?
That extended melody, it's extremely emotional and cool. I stopped playing a guitar, I'm now inspired back
3:25 I love that chord I used it alot, never thought it was a real chord just liked the way it sounded.
Same I thought I invented it and I was really proud for a moment until somebody actually made a vid about it, it sounds sad in a very hopeful way
There is no such thing as a "real" chord mate. Any combination of notes is a chord of some sort, lol
@@TheZacdes yeah i just learnt how complex this stuff is... im selling my gutair.
