Another really enjoyable video! I bought one of these second hand last week and it literally arrived in the post yesterday, so I too spent about an hour doing pretty much what you did in this video, admittedly without a UA-cam audience or your superb level of skill and expression in guitar playing. Such a fun pedal though. I love a flanger or a phaser, but I was really impressed by the three choruses, especially the Dimension. I'm nowhere near as awesome as you as a player, but I do love to experiment to get interesting sounds, and I have often found that placing modulation effects between guitar and drive pedals is just as valid as the more traditional position of between drive and amp. You get different results from the same effect types, which is really cool, and to be honest I like to run two modulation effects (sometimes even the same effect type) with one in each of the positions, to really spice things up. Keep on rocking Dave!
When you started telling us about it I was still contemplating those lovely minor moments in the intro jam, had to stop and go back to the melodies! Hope I'm not cancelled. The middle jam was a blinder too! As ever Dave you lighten the darkness.
You little guitar playing guru! Dave that peddle is cool as hell mate! I would put that peddle on my board and never take it off. Keep up the good work my friend. That Strat is very unique that Red really stands out. It's a barn burner for sure all by itself! By the way Great Demo! You take good care my friend...
hey man , a fellow young guitar player hear , love this video but i got to say ive seen some of your lives and your videos an goddamn you have the best guitar playing around , a lot of people say theirs not ,any legendary guitarsist in this eara left an i just say their not looking in the right places , like this video i love your guitar playing man keep rocking an you have yourself a nice day
Brilliant video Dave! My daughter is a science teacher and she explained it to me that these modulation pedals like to see a guitar signsl uncompressed so Ive always used them immediately after the guitar signsl - then drive. I have the amp modeller and love that too. 🤩👍
@25:10 u totally answered my question of your preference of this Univibe vs. the Voodoo vibe! Was wondering if you’ve tried the Monterey vibe by Nux. Wonderful playing 🤘🏾💯💣🎸… I may have to get all 3🤦🏾♂️🙅🏾♂️🤣
Dave, Dave, Dave, as I've just returned from your part of the world. Whilst heading off to Norway from Southampton for a summer cruise to the Artic Circle, I must say my day and half in London was although short, so good to be back. As for this new creation here today, Magnificato - Love it, - Thanks for all you and C.C. do here on UA-cam. Love the Andertons video's and your travels clips. One day I'd love to see your band in a proper venue, Yes, I'd photograph your show as a thank you for 4 years of your great humor and dedication to your craft. for a lark, in the US this week out lottery is $1 Billion Dollars and another is $650 Million. If I were to win I send you a new Sprinter Van for your often extensive travels. Much respect - Love ya jam Indiana Tones . . .
what an inspiration you are dave . i have an old line 6 spider 3 75w combi has 400 adjustable tones and sounds great fun even if many sounds are cheesy and naff, cant knock the little combo paid £40 from market place just a pain trying to find a cheap FBV shortboard to maximise its potential,
Have one of these and the DL4, always wanted the distortion and filter ones too but never got round to getting them. They are built like tanks and still going strong
Have you looked at the M9 (or the m5) at all Dave? Its all of these big box units in a single (similiar sized) metal enclosure, where you can use up to 3 effects at a time. The m5 is a really good shout as you get all the effects, but as a single large stompbox.
The Modeler pedals are pretty awesome, but I got an M9, which is all of them in one! I'd be lying if I didn't say I bought it for the Obi-Wah so I could play Throw Away Your Television.😂
impressed, flabbergasted and nearly crapped myself. I knew you were a good player for a few years bc of your love of Marshalls jcm800 Solid state amp, like the 5210 etc, but Damn. Dude....nice damn improv !!!! with a side of Jimi. you need a Manager !!! I shit you not ..
Dave Have you ever checked Ren and his band Big Push out? He is a big Fruciante fan and you can hear it in songs like Fire & Hi Ren ( road tripping') etc. Jenny & screach( full version) is a masterpiece. He's one of the best story tellers I have ever come across. He has Lymes disease and has struggled with his mental health. Enjoy the Ren rabbit hole!
Yo pedals came sd1-yoyo vintage-golden plexi-ml2 core;)- phase 90- whammy 4 only best glitches-wah-amp^^Do not usw this Setup wih a modeler nor a fender styly amp...Marshall Baby;);)
Got one in a trade and loved it. I already had a DL4 and a DM4 so I thought "why not?" and zero regrets, great pedal, it records lovely

Utilizing the MM4 stereo outs is more important to me than where it is in the chain for the best effects in this pedal to come alive
I think the best sound, is you playing and having fun. Great video ❤️🎸❤️🎸
Very Cool, Thankyou. So many awesome sounds, and Brilliant Playing as always. Am loving this Line 6 Series, very impressive pedals. All the Best.

I agree I use some modulation stuff going into the guitar and then going backwards into overdrives etc
It's a great unit. I loved it when you started getting those Robin Trower tones.
Been a long, weird week i've had today (I do mean that how i said it), and your intro jam is the exact mood i have right now.
I had one of these for a long time. So many damn glitches I couldn’t rely on it, but I did love the convenience
Sounds great Dave keep on rocking

I love mine and love playing with the expression pedal. But I have trouble sticking to a sound. Thanks for this video I can never find enough on it.
Seen it a lot on reverb, good review, great playing. Oh and definitely the Univibe 👌🏼
what an inspiration you are dave .

This unit is still used all over Nashville. It will be worth a lot one day.
i always go guitar multi effects then amp but i dont use much on the multi effects
I have the line 6 m13, great multi effects board for £200 (ebay)it has all these pedals and more 🎸🎶

I have yes and have vids on a m13 i used to own.
I you planning on demoing the FM4 Filter Modeler? I would love to see you finally play Throw Away Your Television with the Obi-Wah effect.
If i can get one yeps. :)
What is the first pedal you ever fell in love with
Marshall jackhammer. :)
The Modeler pedals are pretty awesome, but I got an M9, which is all of them in one!

It’s Saint Wednesday my doods🎸
Great sounds and playing!
Wish it had a MkII with the DL4 treatment. Just a touch too big
Sea sickness machine. Sounds cool as hell but sometimes I wonder how you could use some effects in a real Song.
I want one !...What if you were to break your finger while poking it, would you play with your teeth ?
Hello dave 🖐️😁

Hi 😊👋
I don't sense any moderation in your modulation
Nice demo. Looks a little big for a pedalboard though. 👍☮️🌞🎸🩵
