I do that sometimes. Not having eye contact allows listener 👂 to focus on words and thoughts over staring at a face or eyes 👀 for example talking on cell 📲 allows concentration on conversation without looking at someone's face.

This is a complete load of rubbish - I have only been to Vietnam once and from my observations English is spoken in tourist areas of Da Naag but not in Hanoi.
You need to be able to speak Vietnamese to be able to interact with local people and from my understanding Vietnamese is a tonal language with 8 different tones !
Good to know, thanks! By the way, how does HCM compare to the two cities you mentioned when it comes to English being spoken?
Lived in vn for 7 years and had couple girl friends and I find vn women are serious about relationships. ie looking for marriage and fam
Do the Vietnamese speak much English?
Young ones do below 30 years old
And in bigger cities
They ever like our colloquialisms like hey man
Vietnamese men are still quite traditional culturally speaking .... therefore, it is somewhat difficult for foreign women living in Viet Nam to connect .... there is a better chance to connect with foreign men living in Viet Nam ..... and it seems to be the same across Asia because of the similarity in culture .... it may be better to find a partner in your country of origin who have the same interest in working/living abroad? Anyway, good luck to all the foreign women in Viet Nam .... may you find love and happiness soon.
I'd like to date Skye! 😜🤣🥰
I live in the USA - San Francisco, CA. Here it is all about how much $$$ you make.
Previously, I lived in Asia where I was an English and Math teacher. I lived in Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand. I found Japan and Taiwan more like the West and Thailand was much easier. I also visited Vietnam - Saigon and Nhatrang and I can see myself dating someone there. The VN women are of course beautiful and nice, and don't seem as material as women in the West, more sincere.
How did you find the dating scene in TW?
I've been there but didn't date anyone, however I found it fairly easy to meet and go out, contrary to Korea (which is akin to Japan in many ways).
Vietnamese women are not afraid to get dirty like most american women...and I'm not talking about the bedroom I'm talking about being out in nature, camping, fishing and eating things from the jungle.....and of course they are beautiful too so an added bonus 🤣...nice video 💐👏👍💪😎🏆
I think the Russian girl is very cute and I'm surprised she would have any problem finding a date 🙂
W H A T ??????😂😂😂😂
You’re joking right. She’s a 2/10
she seems like a feminist and has kind of victim mindset...why would anyone be interested in her, when you have the choice of Vietnamese or Chinese girls. She said it herself.

@@Memeanmeaning-xp5fc There are so many pretty vietnamese girls there. Even in Russia that girl would be like a 4 or 5 out of 10.
For VN standards she's literally overweight, not chubby. Girls there have a high standard and are all super slim, that's what the men there also prefer.
Honestly, I Love the Russian Girl... Full of energy and giving advice based on her experience...
She’s really great
Do the Vietnamese girls marry older man with huge gab age?
I'd like to date the host! :)
Wow he is gorgeous
nice vdeo but the ken burns were too often and a bit distracting
Why she does not make eye contact with people she interviews? she does not like talking to these people.
In some cultures it's considered disrespectful to make eye contact with people when you're talking to them.
@@LumkaMbane She is all fake.
@@desmomotodesmomoto2033 it's hard to tell with all these cultural differences 🤦
She's making eye contact with UA-cam viewers and allows guests to talk directly into camera. Imo it's great to have freedom to not stare at other people's faces and eyes for extended time.
I think it's a cultural thing. I've met a few VN girls who also do that.
Why would a guy come to Vietnam to date western women? That doesn’t even make sense
Each to their own but this dude is creeping me out 😂😂😂
The bald dude? You guys hating dude is an entrepreneur that's busy what we all should be doing making money and living life to the fullest
@@jaimeb8255Nobody is hating. It’s not about him being an entrepreneur
We all creep someone out
Because you’re a beta simp
Yeah, there's something not right about him, and it's obvious Skye feels the same.
Apparently, Russian women like to talk.... A LOT! She seems sweet but damn.
She’s really kind and funny
The woman guest was adorable but looking for the wrong type of guy.
she interviews the guy, he looks at her, but she looks up in the sky. Seems like she doesn't care at all about what he says.
yesss i noticed that too ahhaha
I do that sometimes. Not having eye contact allows listener 👂 to focus on words and thoughts over staring at a face or eyes 👀 for example talking on cell 📲 allows concentration on conversation without looking at someone's face.
VIETNAMESE WOMEN LOVE FOREIGNERS...ESPECIALLY AMERICAN MEN...GOOD LUCK FELLAS...FROM 🔥 FL AZN GUY 🇺🇲
Vietnamese in the south like US guys.
North Vietnamese girls like Europeans.
US guys have best luck in HCMC, EU guys have best luck in Ha Noi.
Too bad those are bar girls who love dating foreigners so you can spend more at their venues.
@@seklinkin9560 Which part of VN speaks more English if any? Thanks!
Looks Matter
Get rid of the subtitles youtube has them already
"but she speaks good English and has the open mindedness of living in a western country" 😏😏😏
18, 19 to marry?.
Are you sure 😂?
You should look at his face
Work 18hr per day, 7 days per week.😂😂😂 Stop the cap.
And another one...
How many countries you've been (for 33 years)?
40-45 😂😂😂 Stop the cap.
watch out. for all western guys.
sounds kinda racist
Decent girls will not want to date a western guy.
It's kinda weird to not look at the people you interview when you ask them questions and when they reply to you, it made me feel like you don't care about what you're doing/what they're saying, and made me disconnected from the interview as a viewer.
I agreed.
As I know that a western backpacker said : "dating a vietnamese girl as easy as eating soup". Viet women like foreigner who white skin, blue eyes, blond hair & much money. each year, there're 50,000 vietnamese women follow foreign husband to Europe, Australia, US & Canada 😂
And these are the materialistic ones, that see the foreigner as their ticket to upgrade their lifestyle.
The girls who you encounter that are "as easys as eating soup" are the ones the local vn guys would never consider for dating or even marriage.
You are literally picking up the scraps, but for passport bros these are already miles ahead than the girls they can pull in their country haha.
Not really fair for the russian lady to speak on dating in vietnam.
Russian woman too long of an answer for every question. I would have wondering eyes too like skye 😅
Dating culture is still very reserve amongst Vietnamese people. Even more reserved for those viet people wanting to meet foreigners. That’s my experience
Man when I hear people say some bullshit like I work 18 hours a day 7 days a week I lose respect almost immediately. Why say something like that? You lose respect you dont gain it.
The Rice king is not interested in the culture
Western women can't even travel overseas and find a man 😅
I hope all western guys and all guys try to find a girl in your country first. There are Asian girls minority girls around why not give them a try?
It’s not the same lol
many young Vietnam girls came to my country looking for stable financial freedom rship I can said keep on dreaming we prefer local girl here many options to choose this Vietnam girls is just for one night stand no string attached
and what country is that?
I cant stand it when people put a number on someone, what does he rate himself, he's not exactly that good looking
No offense, but you’re kind of going for the same look :-) as for me I’m 13 out of 10
