it may be really pretty but thick hair sucks 😕 I have reallyyyy thick hair, and its horrible. especially in the summer. and when you try doing side braids and stuff, they're SO huge, I can't do them. but I also can't do them because I have layered hair and the pieces come out. But believe me, thinner hair is so much better.

It's on both ends. My friend has thin hair, and she's losing more and more of it. Trust me, thick hair may be troublesome, but you'll be thankful when you have a full head of hair in your old age.

my hair is thick but its SO HARD TO WORK WITH. i can never wear it down because its ugly af and frizzy and it just doesnt go with my face shape😩. its so dry and stuff now because i always straighten it smh

Sharlene Mae You should get something called a Brazilian Blowout. They're specifically for frizz and thick hair. The goal of the blowout is to make your hair less frizzy. For example, (no racism) the beautiful Asians that have the perfect smooth hair is the goal.

I had to cut most of it because its no volume in it at all anymore :( I used to hate that it is so frizzy and curly but now thats the only thing that saves me

LucysImprovHour she's cheating, i washed my indian friend's hair when she was super ill and it was like a jungle, it went on and on, i think i had to use a whole bottle of shampoo almost and it took two hours! I heard chinese have more even than indians! Also i clean in a hotel and we had a chinese tour group stay, all the women had long hair, i am not kidding i spent two weeks cleaning up hair off the floor they have such thick hair their shedding is more than a really shedding dog, it took me half an hour a day

+lil wings if you have naturally black hair, i don't think you need bleach :) you can use dyes that are two - three shades lighter than the desired shades! Since you want her color, i'd probably recommend getting a light brown so that it lightens your hair to a darker/medium brown.

i wouldnt recommend it because it can turn orange! but if you really need the blonde dye, you can buy purple additive packets at sallys and it will cancel out the brassiness

Actually, maintaining thick long hair is not that hard. Believe me I have experience.
+Corrin Jessen I have very, very thick hair as well. It's very curly/wavy. It's not that easy to maintain and it's very frizzy. I guess it just depends on if you have coarse or fine hair.
Chloe S I have had frizzy, thick and wavey hair all my life. I once hated my hair because it was so thick but i came to love it. If you do no heat curls then its really not that hard to style. You can also do no heat waves. I have donated my hair atleast 10 time in my life so far. The first time I donated my hair was when I was 4 and my hair was as thick as hers but down to my butt. I just recently got my hair cut off and donated and I'm growing it out again. I use the aussie smooth shampoo and conditioner and leaving treatments and it toned down my frizz I also use John friedas tame frizz oil as well. getting layers in your hair can also help. It took the girl on this video about 4-5 years to grow out her hair. (she made a hair cut/embarrassing pictures video that's explained a little bit about her hair history) if I grew my hair out for 4-5 years it would be past my ankles. I also use natural oils like vitamin E oil, fish oil, and coconut oil for my hair.

I suffer from eczema on my scalp so unfortunately I can't use any hair products on my scalp 😞 You're so lucky!!!
Try coconut oil ! It's amazing for dry damaged hair as well as dry scalps, eczema & dandruff. Try leaving it on the scalp and hair for about 1 hour before every wash. Then follow up with one cup of apple cider vinegar diluted with one cup of water (stinky yes, but it's amazing for dry scalps) to clean the scalp off then shampoo the hair with sulfate free shampoo & then conditioner
I already have a shampoo and solution my dermatologist gave me and I use apple cider vinegar for a conditioner and I love it my hair feels amazing after!!!!!! 😁. I just can't use any products on my scalp period no matter how much I take care of it

Try the coconut oil and apple cider vinegar rinse (make sure its the purest and rawest form for the best results.) also stay clear of anything with sulfates like shampoos they further dry out the scalp and hair. I love the giovanni tea tree shampoo and conditioner, they feel great and tingly on the scalp and are also all natural. Also drink tons and tons of water to hydrate the body overall
I dont know if this will help at all but I saw on tumblr a person with eczema used 'Avene Eczema cream' and it worked wonders apparently it has like 70k notes
