When I was younger, I was fighting rheumatoid arthritis. It didn't take long for me to figure out that Dr's don't know what they're doing. I started doing the opposite of what they told me to do both in diet and physical activity. One of the problems I had was loose knees. Going down stairs was no fun. I found out about Hindhu squats through Matt Furey's book, combat conditioning. It took me about a month but I got to 500 per day. No stopping. After around 2 months my knees going down stairs went from feeling like 2 ball bats with a lacrosse ball between them to feeling like new knees. The baithak is exactly what the knees need. I've never done the jumping version and I need to try it. If you look in the Tao of Jeet June Do in the chapter called qualities, the training routine includes the jumping version as well as the basic version. Bruce Lee used the Dand as well. Great feedback. I have always felt doing baithak made my knees stronger. By not doing it I have felt weaker in my knees.👍👍

I have been working out since last 4 months from home used to do normal squats daily. However, after seeing your video i wanted to strengthen my legs and started working on pehalwani bhaitak. it went well for one week, but then i started feeling pain in my right knee. I usually do sets of 3x25Nos, but even this was hurting. So i have stopped working on legs since last two weeks to let the body heal. Now, i know it may be because of some mistake which i did in my build up. Let me try this method in video and hopefully it will work. Thanks
Knee as a hinge joint bone. Hence baithak is not at all harmful instead climbing stairs & working treadmill both as exercise to be harmful ......

@@stayinspired1271 Bhai jab maine karna start kiya tha to Meri muscles m pain hua tha because muscles break hoti h starting m....but dhree dhree vo muscle pain bhi band ho gaya...but remember vo muscle pain tha joint pain nhi...agar aapko muscles m pain hota h to vo muscle ke breakdown se hota h but agar aapko Joint pain hota h ..knee etc m then phir aapko thoda aware rhane ki jarurat h...agar joint pain hota h to thoda kaam he karo aap... remember hum exercise khud ki fitness ke liye karte h na ki exercises se nukhsaan uthe ke liye !!. 😌😌

my hands are quite long, it hits the floor. but currently I'm dealing with knee pain due to weak foot arches and weak hips (external rotation of the hip)
if someone has knee pain you probably have fallen arches/flat foot as well as weak hips aswell. I'd recommend you to not neglect hip training. lay on your side and raise one leg. best exercise for hip stability. also side to side jumps are great. lunges are good too, but keep in mind to not shake or bend your leg, instead use your hips for a rock solid motion.

i like doing sets of 100reps for 3 to 5 sets so 300 to 500, 3 times a week...i feel less then 100 doesnt feel as good, dont get warm enough
