☝️😑.. the problem with log homes is,PINE POLLEN and, the incredible amount of dusting involved inside, especially in high beam/support areas. You need movable scaffolding and a cleaning team. Cobwebs and dust build up on high ceiling fans and any crevices ect,, Definitely factor that into your monthly budget. You will need the movable scaffolding for indoor and outdoor windows cleaning to... Not saying don't build one,,, just be aware of the upkeep involved

The truss is a nice touch on the gable, but their is a huge downside to them. If you live in the country or near any woodlands, they are going to be full of spider webs; ALWAYS. My families lake home in northern Minnesota had a lot of decorative features like this. My brother and I would send the first few hours of every trip to the cabin sweeping the webs off the cabin. No one every tells you about this when you put them in.
