  • Kumpir (kumpir) is the same crumb-potato in Russia, as in Turkey, only Turkish local flavor separates it from our potatoes. Yugoslavia is considered the homeland of Turkish potatoes, and it came to Turkey in the early 90s, quickly spread and is considered a full-fledged part of Turkish cuisine. By the way, it was in Russia that the idea came from Turkey in the 90s to create a crumb-potato.
In Turkey, potatoes are baked in foil, an incision is made and the koshar cheese (light cheese made from sheep and goat milk) is added.
The filling options have a local flavor: there is no meat, poultry, fish; mainly various fresh and pickled vegetables (red cabbage, peppers, cucumbers), sausages and sausages, bulgars, ground black olives.

Площадь Таксим. По пешеходной улице Истикляль ходит трамвай. Вдоль этой улицы много кафе и магазинов. Мимо Кумпир не пройдете.
