- Sub 3'30 with better charm and better play/luck on skull. There are definitely a lot of gambles in the run but It's still one of the best fights for charge blade in the game, so I'll definitely do a cleaner run at one point later.

A little question, do you feel like CB is too unsafe/"gambley" in this game? Feels like monsters are too fast and our recovery after SAED too slow, and sometimes you just eat damage no matter what. Like our life its up to the monster's whims lol.

If you have too short of a time window to do a SAED, just do a regular AED unless you're sure the monster is gonna flich / trying to speedrun it
@@Shivajaiswal9 I have that maxed and it still not enough. Either I get hit before it even hit or after hit or just move out of the way. It like they are forcing you give that up for the other moves which I don't want. I also don't want to go back to SA since it just be playing like in rise, don't see much use on the new skills besides counter which I wish was just for amp instead of damage.
@@Gamemaster-64 Just block and go straight inte SAED from there or after the Silkbind block. That's basically what everyone's doing. You should have enough time.

I just got to Rathalos and I'm curious if I should be using spinning slash on him instead of SAED? He just rarely seems to have an opening big enough for me to get the whole attack off.

Not understand the hype for rise.. Gameplay wise, seems like a downgrade from IB..
CB has boiled down to one silkbind for all. Drawing 90% of moveset into obsolescence at the press of a button. Shame if you ask me.

CB came out in mh4 and in mh4u it had the most toxic boring playstyle... Capcom then spent the next 3 games improving the gameplay and created a real weapon... Good to see they have undone all that hard work and returned it to its mh4u state

@@foodymann7309 yeah.. I'm not stating anything new here.. capcom themselves said they wanted to avoid a playstyle that revolves around staying in sword/shield mode and countering into AED/saed
They also stated specifically that being able to AED/saed from a counter was bad game design.. so I am confused with what they have done now

Besides, you got ready stance to pair it with condensed spinning slap so shut up, enjoy CB how you want and let others do the same. You are in the minority, these are the changes that majority of the community has been asking since base Rise release, those "changes" you liked so much were nerfs if you were living under the rock for the last 3 games. This brings CB back to it's glory days. If you think SAED is boring. How is swinging your axe forever any better. There's a second side of the coin you always had and i think it's about time you stopped being ignorant about it.
@@emrebennett7572 That was bad?! I like that, it why Im not hopping or pizza but they made doing the moves near impossible. The only bad I thought was you can't saed cause it will use up the shield.

I mean. I'd also have a sub 4 min. Run in Malzeno if he just spammed the same move over and over and then took a breath to take the saed. In my runs he non stop does 7 moves in a row non flying and porting around. Like an a hole...

Go ahead and respond to his "same move" without any mistakes and position yourself perfectly so you don't whiff 4 out of 5 phials for the whole duration of a run while using dereliction and not shitting your pants every time you get one-slapped because with MR monsters' speed each SAED can be suicidal. Geez dude, just try to enjoy the run
