Always admired Case garden tractors, and It's ALWAYS nice to hear someone else who appreciates the smaller vintage garden tractors...they're NOT just grass cutters!👍

I have a 1972. It's the 224 same black knight. My serial number dates mine as the earliest 224 Demonstrator in America. Love em!!!

When I was 12 years old my Grandad bought a new Colt 2110 w/44" deck for mowing around the farm yard. I ran that thing almost every day for 4 summers. Went through 2 engines and lot of drive belts!

Mr. Guider is well known and respected in the CCI community. Great collection. I can attest these tractors are super tough and reliable.

My dad bought a Case lawn mower back in the very early 70's and that's what I learned to mow on. He put dual wheels on the back. After he died it sat in out back garage and mom sold it. I wish she kept it.
But I still have the wagon that went with it.

Nice lawn tractor's that makes me want to get one of either the Case or the Colt. Both have some really neat options. Looked like he had a lot of them, what a great video. Thanks for sharing, Merry Christmas to everyone out there!

If you plan on doing actual work like pushing dirt, don't buy one you'll be disappointed

@@RJ1999x well, I’ve got those bases covered too.
You may say I have “garden tractor fever.”
I use my 155 mainly as snow machine in lower Michigan. It’s got a 54” front blade, chains and an extra 250lbs. on the rear.
It’s not built as heavy as some of our tractors but it’s my favorite one when it comes to looks.

@@jhitt79 👍 awesome. I have an Allis Chalmers 720 and 620 we can put a blade on 1 and the blower on the other for snow here in central Wisconsin

My family sold Case in the 70s. 442 12 horse demo, I spent hundreds of hours mowing with demonstrators. I remember the 108 demonstrator. I think that one was fairly rare also. 444 and 446 seemed to be the most popular.

Great story. I acquired a 444 PK (powerking). I need the unique seat for it to be restored properly.

you guys need to do a video on a Case 644 or 646, they're the coolest garden tractors around in my opinion. Similar to the 444 and 446 (same hydraulic drive system and rear end etc) but they are extra heavy duty industrial versions with factory loaders on them, and they are incredible strong. You can catch a brief glimpse of them in this video, they are painted construction yellow. They even made factory backhoe versions which are even cooler. I have a very nice shape 1973 644 that you'd be welcome to make a video on, but I'm up in Alberta

I worked for Massey Ferguson Australia in the 1960s as a service supervisor, and was asked to field test the MF12 garden tractor in my contracting business. Brand new & the only tractor brought into Australia; complete with all the accessories & hydro static drive. When I returned it to the factory in Sunshine, Melbourne I was told it would be returned to the US. It was a great machine, but the decision not to market them was a big mistake. My current machines include all John Deere.
