the lack of back support on every farming machine from this period makes me think there was some unwritten rule among the manufacturers to give everyone back pain.
2:17 Made in Greenwich, Ohio. That's only about 1/2 hour drive from me! I thought that I knew all of the automotive and implement manufacturers from Northern Ohio. I was WRONG!
Shorten that steering stem then add some back support and it probably wouldn't be too bad. Would definitely be alot more comfortable than the original set up. Cool tractor though!
That does look like the most uncomfortable tractor ever. Perhaps seating position is different with the plow in the ground? Can't imagine a whole day on that thing.
It looks like you have to hold on to the steering wheel to keep from falling off the back, and having your heels higher than your butt for any length of time would be torture.
It's cool but Man it looks horrible to drive and if you hit a ditch or a hole , your gonna eat that big steel stearing wheel I wouldn't want to be on that thing more than 15 min .
Love that little tractor.... favorite part of the video. It's atiticulatin
I had an uncle born in 1927. If he were still living I'd be showing him this, he'd have gotten a kick out of it.
Wow - that’s super cool but looks like it couldn’t be less comfortable if they tried. Love seeing this vintage machinery.

You were on and off all the time! Not like you get to sit there doing nothing.

Steering wheel position looks all wrong.

Як же їх багато
That had to cost a fortune when it was new. Not for your average garden farmer. Clearly for someone who made their living from a small farm.
