Taz with the timestamps being the MVP of HPA, as always. 😎👍 Prayers for our brothers and sisters up around the Coromandel. Cyclone Gabrielle was already huge when she passed by my neck of the woods 2 weeks ago so I knew how bad it was gonna get down there. 🙏
Rob's openness about the rotary engine and it's intricacies is exactly what the community needed to help it grow. A lot of the information he provides is hush hush and he's changed that for the better. It seems HP Academy helping him grow has had an even deeper impact then you might have thought. Cheers.
There is a lot behind this but humans as a whole have repeatedly withheld knowledge from others to benefit themselves for a millennia. I believe in sharing all the knowledge I know in hopes others around me will share theirs.😜
That's awesome! Rob has promoted us a lot (which we really appreciate!). We were stoked to see him in the tee although it threw Andre for a second as usually he's talking to Ben or one of us staff here when that logo is on someone's chest haha I hope you used Rob's affiliate link as well! Anyone reading this, if he or anyone else with an HPA link sends you our way make sure you use it as it helps them out too 😎 - Taz.
He's one of the inspirations for me working on my own car. He started with zero to little knowledge on cars and hit the books. Now, look at him! I think my favorite thing about him is he's not afraid to fail and share why. I've seen his engines go through havoc on his vlogs and stuff and man. His heartache normalizes my heartache so i don't get so down on myself.
I've followed Rob's incredible journey almost since the start of his channel. I love how he is transparent with his followers and we see his mistakes - and I also learned how to tune my engines because of HPA. Rob did a 1500bhp 4 Rotor, tubular frame RX7. I did a 1994 Celica GT-Four with a new turbo! Differences and goals. GREAT, GREAT INTERVIEW
Andy is one of the smartest guys in the industry, and also a really nice guy. Hope you're enjoying your R5, we haven't had a chance to fit ours yet. There's an R3 on the way now too, Andy and the Haltech team are busy 😎 - Taz.
Incredible interview. I could honestly listen to him all day. The passion, the knowledge and transparency are what the rotary community needed. What an ambassador he is.
I love Rob but he throws so much information at you so quickly in his videos that at times its easy to miss things. This interview was extremely well done and helped keep the topics a little more focused. In doing so you guys helped me learn more about the 4 rotor despite the fact that I've seen every one of his videos! Great work and thank you very much!
Love this video! Been following Rob and HPA for a long time and I love seeing two people who support each other so much finally come together. Like 2 peas in a pod!
Reckon he's got 8 on so he's prepared to un-layer for any occasion? Christmas jumper from nan, one from Andre, a few Valvoline ones then something flashly for dinner parties all ready to go at the drop of an awkward arm jiggle and belly flash? Wish I was that prepared, I swear remembering undies is hard enough some days 😎 - Taz.
What an awesome guy. I love to see the thought and love he’s put into that car. He’s a sponge for taking in information then deciphering it and making it work for him.
Rob is one of the main guys that motivated me into doing my own tuning and doing the HP Academy courses. Purchased a couple of courses not too long ago and that gave me the confidence to rescale my MAF on my own. Been using EcuTek and I'm super happy I've started learning to do my own EFI tuning. Next steps are fuel and timing tables.
It's been quite a journey watching him hoon, break, re-engineer and hoon again. So much drama with this project its nearly a soap opera. We've laughed, we've cried And he's here to tell the tale Topps up HP
Cheers Noah, appreciate the support from you guys, and also from guests like Rob. The time people take out from busy events like SEMA to talk to us is amazing.
