    I love it how he gives so much love and praise to them as the ¨Gods of Hwoarang¨ even tho he is just as good in my eyes, Love the support that the Hwoarang community has for eachother.

    I fell in love with this character when Tekken 3 came out when I was 6 and have been firmly with him to this day. It's just so satisfying to kick the hell out of people.

      similar situation with me. I saw Tekken 3 at the arcade for the first time when i was about 8 or 9 years old and Hwoarang was the character that I fell in love with. He was the only character wearing a traditional martial arts uniform and his kicks were so satisfying, and he was button mash friendly so it was easy to do cool sh!t with him without much knowledge or execution lol.

    EDGE (for long time fans TKMuse) was actually the first Hwo main I started watching on a regular basis. Then it was MadDogJin, Yeonarang, and eventually I ended up here. So it’s cool to watch you analyze these incredible players, who I’ve been a fan of for years :D

    Edge definitely practices Taekwondo. Some of his combos are straight up ripped from the forms and applications. It's interesting to see how he applies his knowledge of the style into his matches. I think a basic understanding of Taekwondo is something every Hwoarang main could benefit from as besides Leroy, Hwoarang's Taekwondo is the most faithful to reality

    Im actually learning all the matchups while watching your streams all the the time.. My PC is in another city 4 hours flight from here so i haven't played T8 but im hoping watching you fighting people in Tekken God rank can help me gain knowledge..
    I'm a Hwo main since T3 but only reached Red Rank in T7. Rarely played online because of shitty internet back then 😅..

    learned some stuff for example power crush after df1,3 is best. also sidestep after rff df3 is good too as its normally easy to interrupt a follow up attack

    I have never, ever seen a time out draw where both people were actually trying to win, and I doubt I'll ever see it again.
    5:14 - 5:18 Yeah, I *HAVE TO* timestamp that.🤣
    Interesting that you'll still hear your music selection for stages when watching other people's replays.
    7:30 - 7:35 I guess risking their life for no reason really is the struggle of K-Wiss' people.
    Maybe K-Wiss isn't the very best Hwoarang, but I have a hard time believing there's 10 other Hwoarang mains on the planet who are better.
    Unrelated, but shout out to Tekken 8 for hitting more than 2 million sales in less than a month.

    Been wondering this move at 5:49
    I think the command is down+O O (the firecracker?) in playstation controller, sorry i'm not familiar enough with the tekken terms yet, i rarely see it used by pro Hwoarang players, but i use it a lot from tekken 5, 6, and TTT2. Is it an unreliable move?

    • @Trinax11
      @Trinax11 8 місяців тому

      Also they didn't really use backleish. But I think it's understandable, with jfsr you put yourself in danger vs a good hwoa, also backleish is just easy to punish with b3 etc.
