Hands down the best statue reviewer going around...and there are a LOT of good ones. You always get the framing perfect for your video footage - tight enough to see all the detail, but wide enough to be able to take in the whole piece. I do really like this piece, but went with the IA version this time around as I just find this one too greebly to make me feel a true G1 tone.

wow this is seriously epic, that jet pack light up is one of the best light up features ive ever seen, i agree with you in that your favorite way to display it is also my favorite way and thats actually where the 1 negative of this piece comes from for me and that is that the two right arm display options look awkward with the portrait that is facing to his left so if i were to get this i would display it with the extended gun arm the portrait facing his right and possibly with the axe also, but regardless this is clearly an epic statue and anyone who owns it should be very proud of it

Your original g1 optimus and megatron review sealed the deal for me some years back. I won't be getting this because I really love the p1 pieces to me they are perfect. I do have xm starscream coming and he should fit the p1 pieces well enough. A great piece still for sure very cool. I honestly still want p1 bumblebee from the new movie but also have p1 jungle hunter coming so had to make decisions. Good review brotha.
Ah, yes, the Prime 1 G1 pieces are very nice as well...can't go wrong with either. I think you made the right choice with the Jungle hunt...erm..."big game cover art" Predator! I have that one on order myself.

Personally I don’t own any statues, a few months back a stumbled on to these type of channels and started loving them but now all i got to say is Wow this statue is incredible. For some reason this statue to me feels like its alive, how it flows and the switch outs are something to truly admire. Oh and great job on the review 10/10.

I honestly didn’t pay attention to his weight when I pre-ordered him. I didn’t even look into it until after he was shipped and it said 100lb on DHL. I was like wtf that has to be wrong.lol. Just unboxed him and nope it’s on point.. man this statue is amazing and I agree the truck along is beautiful...

Great review man! sick piece! kinda funny earlier today i watched a show on Netflix called The Toys That Made Us and i watched the Transformers episode and learned all about the origins of the franchise and all that cool stuff
That's a great show! It's fun to see what went into developing those toys that we loved as kids. the GI JOE episode was cool, they explain how Snake Eyes was a bit of a mistake, but ended up being one of the most popular characters. Funny how things work out!

The wipers are made of a softer material and could be adjusted. Honestly, I just did not notice until after I filmed it and packed everything back up. No, I won't be at SGCC this year...maybe next year, I hope.

I saw some pictures of Starscream with the coronation parts that look amazing. That will be a great review. Megatron looks awesome too of course.

i know you got the original Daniel Bel Sideshow Daredevil PF, but did you also get the recently released Shadowlands variant? i love both version but especially the shadowlands version idk why but im seriously blown away by that variant
No, I did not get the black variant. It looks cool, but I am a bit of a stickler when it comes to Daredevil costumes. That DD costume was never really comic accurate to begin with, so the black repaint looks not too bad. BUT...DD's black costume should not be a simple repaint of the red costume...like Wolverine's brown costume, you can't just paint the yellow costume brown, it's a completely different costume. Same goes for Daredevil's black (and yellow) costumes. The black costume (either Shadowland or the recent Charles Soule run) deserves its own statue! /endrant, lol

What size is that turn table Prime is on? I'll be purchasing him at the end of the next week and planning to purchase a custom Cylinder pedestal to display him on.
It's around 21-22" diameter. It is actually a refurbished wine barrel lid that I found on eBay years ago.

It seems XM transformer lines ain’t selling well, Star scream can still be found for retail price, Grimlock is still available after 2 month with edition size of 399... any reason why? I personally think starscream and Grimlock are awesome
They’re big and expensive, and shipping cost on top of that. The statues themselves are incredible.
I purchased the XM Optimus following this review. I do think that the Bumblebee is over priced considering its really small size. Grimlock is incredible but it’s just so BIG. There has been a flood of G1 transformer statues of late, Prime 1, Imaginarium Art and now XM. I guess XM are the last to the table as well, meaning that other options may have already been chosen from the others.
Orange Peel I have grim lock on PO and are most likely have to transfer him in the future, I am struggling to find solution to his 80 cm depth for display

Yes, the base is quite large and mostly one piece, so it is definitely the heaviest single component.

What an incredible sculpt. Borderline too "michael bay"ish but still the features + "throw in" make this an amazing piece to own. Tough decision... because you know once you get one from the series, you kinda have to get them all, lol

What is the price of these transformers statues go for? Optimus prime Megatron and starscream.
The retail price is always listed in the credits at the end of the video. But, these TF's have been sold out for years, so I have no idea what they are going for these days.

No, this is a cold cast porcelain statue, and has no diecast parts.
Too bad XM Studio don't ship to the states
One day I think they will. They are making some headway with their DC line, so who knows...maybe more lines will follow if they can find a distributor to work with.
Unfortunately, it's an xm statue and auto disqualified for its poor solidity and horrific transport costs. Prime One has a G1 1/3 Megatron and 1/3 Optimus coming next year that will stomp xm into the ground and I for one have no problem waiting.
Ok. Prime 1 makes some great stuff, I am especially looking forward to their new "Big Game Cover Art" Predator!

You mind expanding on that? I know that P1 has the G1 Optimus prime from the Bumblebee movie up for pre order now. It's excellent. But are they planning a more classic G1 version along with a Megatron?
@@commander0zero they already have made 1/4 scale G1 which were great. They are now gravitating towards 1/3 as the standard on most statues.
