The fact that he is holding Megatron is just the icing on the cake! That in combination with the red bat ejection pose threw me right back to my childhood… had me hearing “Lazerbeak eject, Operation: Destruction!” 😂

Soundwave was my favorite transformer toy as a kid. The more I see this piece being reviewed, the more I want it. Kicking myself in the ass for not PO ing it. Great review.
Soundwave is definitely my favourite character growing up! He’s just so much cooler to a kid, and his voice! This piece is amazing, it captures all of his essential merits. I think I am going to get it.
They all look "the best looking statues". But this Soundwave's details looks outstanding!! Plus u got laserbeak, rumble, ravage and a transformed cassette player.👍👍👍

I forgot how cool of a character soundwave was. This statue alone brought back so many memories. What I absolutely phenomenal piece. It should make it to the top statues of the year video next year.

The Soundwave statue is absolutely amazing. The detail and accuracy are on point. Overall amazing. What else can I say, wow.

Soundwave looks to be the best for sure...I have optimus, starscream and grimlock and this soundwave is absolutely stunning. Can't wait for him to get here! Cheers what a magnificent piece.

As much as I love Starsream and Grimlock, I can see why you rated Soundwave as #1. Soundwave has certain improvements over the others. With Starscream he had presence with the sculpt and colors, but I felt there was too much unnecessary elements on his base. Soundwave's is far more compact/displayable, but at the same time still tells a story. Most of all that base compliments him, not distracts. Another plus I give to that Soundwave is his pose. Personally, I think its the best out of all the Transformers so far. For a scientist, he has a commanding/badass battle scenario and it fits him. Finally, the blue colors pop and his companions are flawless in my books.
I often don't say this for a statue, but I see no flaws. Part of me is regretting not getting him but after buying the P1 Godzilla, MechaGozilla, and a King Ghidorah, I have to be picky. After seeing how good Soundwave turned out, it only makes me more anxious for Galvatron.
I remember asking for Soundwave as a kid and I got Blaster instead >:(

I remember walkmans but as annoying as cassettes and VHS were discmans always bugged me when the disc skipped.
I think Soundwave is slightly better because of the extra character’s that come with the statue. I can’t vote who the best is because I think they’re all great.

Wow Soundwave looks totally badass and to have the minions all around him is awesome. He was one of my favorites and I related to him also cuz I was big into music when I was a kid still am but always had my Sony Walkman with me and I just remember to save on batteries I used the old Pencil Trick to rewind my tapes LOL

I was on the fence about this one. But after getting the XM Grimlock and watching this review I'm going to have to get him to pair with the Grimlock. Damn you Mr. X!!!!

Cool piece and good review. I'm surprised you never bought Imaginarium Arts Soundwave. It's an amazing piece. And it sounds like you and Gem in both your reviews you sometimes call Ratbat, "Redbat".
Best transformer so far. Soundwave was such a cool character and i loved his (minions) as a kid. The sound he used to make when each one popped out was awesome. If memory serves he also had the most robotic voice.

This is my favorite of all the Transformer pieces. Excellent paint and there are so many dynamic features to it with each character standing out and having a purpose. To fight Soundwave you'll be facing a hoard.

They need to make a statue of the transformer that only appeared on the show one time. It was decepticon called "Shakey." The poor guy got to Earth and transformed into a vibrator and fell into the wrong hands. Because of this they could also make a brown version of him as an exclusive.
Soundwave was always so under rated. He was the most logical choice to lead the Decepticons in Megatron's absence. Also, I want Soundwave's voice as my GPS, Siri, Google/Android devices. Is it too much to ask for?

Another thing regarding the value - some people aren't happy with the size saying it's noticeably smaller than other pieces in the line. Just something to consider as it may hurt resale value.

Soundwave was always my favorite growing up in the 80s. And his voice was epic, I had it set as my text notifications for quite some time lol. Million dollar question is…if you had to choose between p1 bayformers or xm, which are you going with?
XM Easy. Although I think P1 Bayformers are cooler looking, there's less emotional connection
Got mine a few days ago. Its pretty incredible! BUT when you pair them with the others in this line it looks off. Height seems to be OK but the girth is on the thin side (That's what she said) I always remembered SW to be very close in size to Optimus and Megatron. Great review as always! In my review I compare his parts with Optimus and Starscream.
I have him next to Imaginarium Arts Devestator and he looks great even though I agree. Underscaled

I'm favorite character out of the Transformers so cool it wasn't my time but it was my brother's so they showed me the OG Transformers I grew up watching Beast Wars I was always pissed that the character Soundwave wasn't in that show
This would be my second fave of the bunch. It's amazing, but Grimlock blows it out of the water IMHO. Both characters were two of my childhood favorites, with Soundwave taking that top spot. But in these statues, Grimlock is on a whole different level... not just for TF statues, but for statues of any license in general.

@@lexusdefensor5811 it is underscaled but it doesn’t bother me because I have next to imaginarium arts devastator. Every company gets scales wrong from time to time.
