the battle between Screwllum and Silver Wolf is actually his victory, in the beginning cutscene if you interact w your surrounding, Kafka said to Silver Wolf about the battle saying how Silver Wolf lost to a Genius Society member, which was to the Screwllum holograph or whatever you call those digital thing
I was about to comment about this and other information about the hacking part. Yes he have been hacked by silverwolf but he corrected/defeated it quickly implying he's still better than silverwolf. Correct me if I'm wrong about what I've said, i just remember reading/watching those somewhere
if the simulated universe relic sets are mean to be all the worlds we'll visit during our space adventure, it seems we will for sure at one point get to go to Screwllum's clockwork planet and probably learn a lot more about him, the genius society and the path of Erudition as a whole. I can't wait!
just as space internet was invented to allow comunications between geniuses our internet was first deployed to communicate between cientists across universities in the US.
I love Herta like Despite having a small build as well as being part of the Genius Society she decides that the best weapon to use is a giant hammer which is bigger than her its odd because one she has a small build, second giant hammers have a bad weight balance meaning they would not be viable in actual combat if your enemy is either fast enough or knows how to parry. They're also slow and sluggish and are easy to predict. But despite all its flaws Herta decided "big hammer go bam" and went with it.
Now that I know the Genius society lore it makes no sense. The only way to become a member is to humble yourself into believing you cannot solve all your problems alone but all of the members bar 1 are reclusives who pointed do not share their knowledge or even work with each other. Personally I used to think I would not join such a society because of its exclusivity of knowledge but it turns out that goes against its literal reason for existing and not just being Nous. They are even described ingame as 'a bunch of Genius Narcissists' how does that square with their core feature of needing to be humble and specifically not a narcassist to even be invited?
By being humble in this case probably mean to accept that there are someone or something that are superior to them. As a genius, it rather hard to realize that there is anything above themselves since they would be living their whole life with people that are below them in term of intelligence and knowledge, especially when it come from people that are part of the genius society. Their level of intelligence could surpass everyone in their planet or even galaxy they belong to. About the sharing of knowledge. The people from the society do not go out of their way to publish their research but that doesn't mean that they will block everyone from obtaining their work. They simply work for themselves, research for their own sake, and doesn't care if other want their research or not. And each member do share their knowledge, especially when it benefit their them. Herta and some other member are working together on the simulated universe after all. Also, the aeon of erudition nous, will probably have all the knowledge accumulated by every member of the society and will probably provide that knowledge to the member of they are needed.
You can be invited into the society by another genius. It also doesn’t mean that you have the favor of Nous. Those who have its favor hold the key to his temple and once they get in, no one gets out.
@@RMX7777 I am pretty sure the path a character follows has nothing to do with the faction they are in. Like sampo is in the faction of elation but is a nihility character
@@nova9335 for most factions yes, but genius society members are chosen by the aeon of erudition. I could be wrong though, I haven't had a chance to read through all the lore yet. Either way, she is a member of the stellaron hunters.
Fun fact: during the Myriad Celestia Part 1, the bgm is morse code for 42, which is a reference to hitchhikers guide to the galaxy
And here are 84 members to he Society, maybe Nous has a thing for 42 multiplicands

This is true early internet inventions was exclusively used by the US government and college universities.
Screwllium (or however you spell his name) is going to be playable, idk about the other members tho
Screwllum gives me massive Trazyn vibe. I hope his voice is going to be appropriately mechanichal.

that's herta's puppet, so its physical abilities are unknowable. herta herself is an old hag lol
It is not Herta‘s weapon , the character that we can play is just a puppet.
