Sorry, no. Without the edge of vocal desperation that is at the forefront of the original "Heroes", lending a sense of heightened distress combined with aching beauty, this version doesn't soar. With the vocal track taking 2nd fiddle to the electronic composition, almost buried, it robs "Heroes" of its unique spirit & its story. This is just another moment of people swaying under the artificial influence of recreational chemicals while listening to something that is more artifice than art. And I am not speaking as some Rock'n'Roll dinosaur with an aversion to Electronic Remixes. Far from it. If you want to know a Remix of "Heroes" that is inspired brilliance, it is the Pineo & Loeb Remix! I celebrate a great interpretation! This just isn't it.
