My white Jil Sander bag is what they call buffed leather and it does not get scratched at all. Very similar to the shiny Ferragamo finish. And no marks which is amazing for white. I bough a very classic Ferragamo Trifolio in black a month ago but it's stashed away for fall/winter - I think it's also the same finish. Congrats on your very cute selections of Ferragamo handbags.

You are right: the quality is incredible and the prices are just right (it is attainable luxury; luxury as: it should be something special, from time to time, and that won't gouge out your finances). Also, the resale market is awash in Ferragamo goods. Personally, I've gotten absolutely amazing Ferragamo shoes that just needed a little polish or a little heel touch up for close to nothing-we're talking 30-50 bucks). Ferragamo truly has well-made shoes (as you say, you'll tire of them, and they will STILL be in GREAT condition).
I'm so happy that my favorite luxury brand has been getting some time in the spotlight!
