Sooooo long ive wanted to do the nc500 and it definately didnt disappoint so many good spots and such a good vibe travelling around it, really hope you guys enjoyed this little 4 part mini series .... onto the next :) have a great sunday all BIG LOVE and stay stealthy Uknow
You are one of the best UA-camrs out there. Many thanks for the journey. 9/10 (if you could cook it would be a 10)!! lol Keep up the good work. Love, Jeanians
Great series Adam, you show off our country well. Love your appreciation of it and the acknowledgement that the tiny communities have a difficult time with the huge influx of motorhomes. I've seen people park them in driveways and across farmers gates. Others not putting any money in the honesty boxes. Some boffin in an office thought it would be a good idea to advertise the NC500 widely but there is not the infrastructure to support it.
Im a Scottish Lass living in NE rural Scotland. I love talking road trips all over Scotland but still lots of places i want to visit. So have decided to travel more of Scotland , then hopefully Europe in my tiny carcamper soon and buzzin about it 😁 Anyway i recently come across your travel videos and i love watching your adventures, especially the Scottish trips!🩵 Love the way you engaged with your viewers in relaxed, often hilarious, yet professional manner. Keep up the good work! ❤
ADAM MATE THANKS SO MUCH FOR LETTING US COME WITH YOU, BLOODY AMAZING STUFF AND PLEASE GET YOURSELF A GOOD TOUCH. ONE MORE THING WHAT A COUNTRY WE LIVE IN MAGICAL STUFF FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END.HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON, PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF ALAN FROM LUTON 💯👍
All my days! 😂 You missed one of the best waterfalls by 500 yards. Allt Chranaidh, 2-3 miles past the Kylesku bridge on the left heading south. There's a rough layby with big rocks and you can see the gorge, the gorge turns right 300 yards along and you can see the waterfall when you round it. You can walk right up to the base of the falls. Wear bòots or wellies, its a bit muddy. You can stay in the layby overnight or head north to the Assynt veiwpoint you were at, or the carpark at the bridge you passed, its a quiet road at night. 👍🏻
I've just pointed out, another 2miles south from that waterfall. is the park up, and start, of the 3.5 mile walk, to the highest waterfall in GB. The 660ft Eas a' Chual Aluinn 😉
I love your content man. Coming along with you as you grow your channel has been beautiful, sentimental and hilarious. Your content ticks all the boxes for me. Thank you Adam.
Hi Adam, im a relatively new subscriber to your channel and im loving your video's, so informative and you make it great fun, you really make me laugh, looking forward to more x
Hey mate hope u are well. Looks like like you are having a kool time. I have been many places close by recently, from boarding on the 3 vals to climbing munros in torridon and skye. You've been a great inspiration to me and I bet many others
Great video footage those park ups just get better and better and more remote by the day. That cave looked amazing well worth the visit. The toastie looked pretty tasty it had plenty of cheese you certainly get your money's worth.
Thank you very much Adam for sharing another great video with fantastic views and the weather looks gorgeous. Lovely picnic area and place too spend the night. Enjoy the rest of this adventure 👍🥰❤️
We stayed at that aire and it was terrible weather when we woke up we were treated to the best sunrise and morning views , well worth the £10 for the night 🤩
Thanks for showing the world my country mate 😂.. I live on the east coast of Scotland place named north Berwick .. it’s full of the English lol 😂.. the beaches are gorgeous and the shops are great .. was just at port Patrick fishing over night was freezing even with a fire going 😊
@@wanderingwhere there’s Berwick and north Berwick mate 2 different places .. my sister lives in Berwick .. I’m at a place in Scotland named aberlady .. it’s right next to north Berwick .. on the John Muir way gorgeous walks from the famous John Muir and the famous first ever bird sanctuary is in my Villiage
Great vid, but pity you missed out doing the 7mile return, 900ft accent/decent walk to the highest waterfall in GB. The 660 ft Eas a' Chual Aluinn. When you turned right from the B869 onto A894 Tto cross the Kylesku bridge. If you had turned left on to the A894. The parking for the walk to the waterfall was around 2.2miles from the turn. Maybe you will done have done the walk it on your return to Skye if its not too late. 😉😊
@@wanderingwhere You did the 2nd highest waterfall in GB The 390ft, Steall Waterfall, at the end of Glen Nevis, the one where you crossed the River Nevis, on the Steel wire rope bridge 😂 Advice, I done the, Eas a' Chual Aluinn 5x. You get down to the top of the waterfall, then you have to cross the burn to get best views. Problem is you cant see the bottom. If you cross the the burn and walk around 100yds the terrain gets less steep. What we found, there were loads of deer & and Sheep trod's that lead down to the bottom of valley, with great views of the waterfall to your left. Or you can use your drone 😊
Absolutely brilliant Adam what a fantastic trip Scotland has been. Don’t say you’ve lost the feet off the new cooker already. All the best. Take Care. Cheers. B. K.
Been watching you for about a year now & I so need to just get in my car & do what you are doing at the weekends. One video a week. Durness Cheese n Toast blue van in car park ..banging good stuff, just been out to Cape wrath with bike ...Balnakiel art village and hot chocolate and a walk up Balnakiel bay dude😎👊
Excellent journey Bud of time on the NC500!!👍. Some of the beaches and coastline scenery, just makes you need to go, and absorb. Great little adventure Bud, really enjoyed it, given me so many ideas for later in the year!👍 .Stay Stealthy!!👍
Gonna do this one day, stunning scenery, are there many places do camping pods etc as we wont be sleeping in the car? We have a touring van but understand they are a no go
Glad you nearly got to the Wrath. When we did it, we took bikes and after getting off the boat cycled the track to the Bothy/lighthouse instead of getting in the van. Watch there's no military training tho. Something for you to consider next time. Just saying...
@wanderingwhere yeh, you don't need to book Adam, but they say take a tent in case it's busy in height of summer, but it's so remote no need really. The cycle in takes a couple of hours on a track, hilly in places. But the main issue is to check there's no bombs being dropped by the military as its a firing live range at certain times of the year 🫨💥
Hi Adam, another great watch. Any chance you can give us an idea on the budget required to do the NC500 i.e fuel and food costs, etc, and the reasonable amount of time it takes to enjoy it. Maybe another video perhaps. Like others, I take note of the places you stop and they look awesome. Keep up the great work. It's very entertaining and much appreciated. 👍
may do a little guide video at some point but all depends on your preference id say, personally the west part i did i would have like 7 to 10 days to slowly go round it all but could do it in 3 if you rushed, budget wise is what and where you eat, take it with you from aldi a weeks food (cheaper) or eat in cafes and such, then your bringing the price up alot even with just snacks here and there ... £15 for coffee and 2 cakes, £8 cheese toastie same for a pie, u know stuff on the route is highly overpriced, and the fuel again depends when you came from ... from the border to durness i thinks around 400 miles - 800 there and back, thats about £200 for my galaxy ... hope this helps 😀
@@wanderingwhere yeah I leave from Glasgow in zafira tourer me and wife going 6 July again taking kayak I enjoy gairloch campsite and we usually cook ourselves stoves baked potatoes etc you can be cheap if you want to
It’s only chicken pork ect you need to worry about under cooking you can literally eat red meat raw. We don’t need to dive straight in to the deep end and eat them out the packet yet, but a couple of mins in that cooker total those things would spot on mate take the risk you’ll never look back 😂😂😂 That was a class spot.
I am sorry but this is unsubscribe time having been with channel off and on since the start, I was impressed at the start with choice of camping spots and that down to earth feeling, but that trip to the French Alps was a complete and utter farce, who can afford that !!
