You sure you’ve got the b2b charger setup correct. I would have thought it would charge your leisure battery at about 14.4 volts at 30amps. Also, does it stop charging your leisure battery when you turn off the car because if not it will keep charging and deplete your starter battery.
I think also it would be a good idea where the red wire goes onto the battery to have a fuse just in case the cables get crushed anywhere and cause short👍

Actually it can be dangerous to not ground it in the chassi. The Amps in a diesel are not like gasoline cars where it not matter.
