@@thesciencebehindbeauty we don't have a lot of good doctors besides in university hospitals so I think you will be a great one
i know it's kinda randomly asking but does anybody know a good place to watch new series online?
I used to watch the forigin students from America and their Universities but I m glad that thru your vlogs I can see the students life from the perspective of a forigin that studies in my country. Good luck in everything
I'm happy you enjoyed the vlog. Studying in Romania has been a life changing experience. Thank you for watching!
12:16 they weren't selling the couch. Guy on the right asked if you want to take a photo on the couch (he was joking) :)) and the guy on the left was just spreadig peace and love haha (check how he brings his hand to his heart and than shows the peace sign). I think they were hittig on you:))))
She should have said nu vrem or nu vrau btw.
Thanks for translating! Definitely should learn more Romanian lol
I just love how you’re actually trying to speak our language. You got all my respect! Good luck
Thanks Maria! I’m trying lol
More video please! My mom is in Romania and I am in the Philippines right now studying Pre med and I planned to go there also to take up medicine. In the language I learned the basic because I go there 4 yrs ago. Hopefully I can take up med there 🙏🏼
Hello I am from Romania and I wish you good luck! Make sure you prepare yourself a bit more than what you think because it's hard. Good luck! ^_^
@@Driamera hi do u study medicine? Im from the UK and interested in studying medicine in Romania. Do u recommend any universities?
Hi Janelle! Thanks for messaging. Don't worry more vlogs are coming! It'll show you what student life is like there. Good luck with pre med! 😊
@@metternichoi Hi, I dont stufy medicine but I can recommend you in Cluj Napoca because its the 2nd most popular city and home to the best top 10 universities in Romania!
Great vlog, it's really interesting to see what Romania is like!
Definitely looking forward to seeing more of these,
made me lol a little when that guy was trying to sell you that couch! The smile on his face as well, he was so excited haha!
& I love Frape's, that's literally the only coffee I drink in Cyprus!!
Thanks hun! I'm happy you liked the video! I know that guy was so random! Haha! Can't wait to upload the rest of the week really soon. Thanks for watching! xx
I love how you're adding the words and their meaning in English! 💕
Love watching your videos!
Aww thanks! I realised most people probably wont understand so thought I’d translate. Thanks for commenting x
I am romanian(now I live in UK) and these lifts always scared me too.😂😂😂Look like the lifts from horror movies.
Hello can I ask you what are the best universities for dentistry?
For studying dentistry *
@@tootamoh5967 Sorry, I can't really help you. I don't live in Romania anymore. But my dentist has studied dentistry in my birth country, in Timisoara. I also know a lot of foreign students who studied in Timisoara.
@@annadrew4 it’s ok thanks for replying 💕.. what university of Timisoara exactly they went for?
@@tootamoh5967 Sorry. I am not sure.
It's a nice video! Well edited. It doesn't show the stress or frustration of a medical student and I was kind of hoping to see a little bit of that
Hey Bobby! You will see more of that as you watch more vlogs. Thanks for watching!
I really hope you will stay after you finish your study. Romanian needs doctors and nurses. I admire your courage to study in a different country! Wish all the best!
You are right, and I love the motivation
“nu, nu vrei” actually means “no, you don’t want it”. “no, WE don’t want it” is “nu, nu vrem”
@Cara Macaan Erm...not quite. If you are an american it'll be a bit hard to learn romaian with all it's articles. Even though it's easier than german, it's still not easy to learn.
This is my entire college existence tho...
Paper due in four days with a ton of research attached?
Let's go shopping!
Loooool
Y’all remember tho , this is Iasi , the least developed City in Romania . So corruption is still much more rampant there than in any other parts of the country .
What about Craiova, Dolj, is that developed?
I love how you speak romanian!😊❤
Dear Juliet,
Thank you for sharing!
I hope you are well and succeded with your education.
I am from Iasi, and I wanted to say that living in Romania makes even us a bit anxious.
Mainly because we were under the communist regime. This regime left a big scar on Romanian people, that means poverty, lots of stress on a daily basis and poor education (a lot of theory, but the lack of understanding- based on memorising things, the only exemption it may be the mathematic university in Iasi, at least this is my opinion). The good thing about Romania if you are a foreigner is that you can obtain an education cheap(for books, especially for printing papers and living) but do not count on teachers, my advice is to be self-taught.
Another matter is to not take things too personally, people (mostly old people) usually do not smile on the streets because they are stressed and sad (for being poor work a lot and receive a small salary which makes living a bit difficult). Also, old people do not speak English and tend to stare at foreigners because for them is something new and exciting to see that people like you visit us, despite the fact we are not a so developed country. But on the other hand, young people should speak English, we love foreigners and we are super friendly.
Again this is my opinion.
I am sorry to hear you had maybe a difficult time, hopefully, it will get better.
Wish you the best of luck and you are very welcome to visit us.( hopefully it was not so scarry)
Is this in Cluj-napoca? Cuz it really looks like it💋 My mom is from Romania, i hope you had a great time being there❤️
memoriesssss
I know!! Don't worry I have many more coming soon xx

I studied in Oradea, Romania for one semester. It was very much "you pay, you pass". And they would force you into a position of having to pay: like the instructor was writing the text book you needed to pass the final, and it would be available right before the final at an extremely high price. There was an Italian student who began classes two weeks before finals who was told very clearly, in front of three lab classes, that if he was willing to "pay the price" he would pass. And whenever there was a large assignment, I asked the Romanian students and everyone was copying and pasting the entire assignment. Even though they told us the corruption had been cleaned up, every class was still very corrupt and required massive payments to pass.
But I swear I had the exact same apartment!
:)
Move to Iasi/Cluj
I am back in Canada, studying to retake the MCAT. At the time all of this occurred, the government was going back and forth regarding whether or not they would convert the initial tourist visas of North Americans into student visas. I simply ran out of time and had to make a fast decision. But I'm glad it's working for you. Good luck! :)
B M are u studying in one of these universities? I want to study in iasi but I’ve heard that it’s corrupt so I’m unsure. If anyone is studying in iasi, please tell me what it’s like and if it’s suitable for student life
I am Strong but how do you know that? Have you studied there?
How can I apply for romania ? Do you have any idea of any agents ?
This was sooo interesting. Thank you for the experience of hearing the other side of the story for the first time. I very much regret not making the decision of leaving Bucharest beforehand and studying medicine abroad...now it’s too late given that I only have half a year left before entrance exams here in Romania and it’s far too late to start looking into colleges from other countries. I really enjoyed seeing that others choose to come here, despite it being so unorganised and bad in many ways. I am sorry for all the staring and the unfriendliness or rudeness that you’ve encountered. I really hope it will get better as we get more exposed to other cultures. Glad I came across this video. Good luck in your future projects!:)
Hello , could y help me telling what is the best universities for postgraduate studies for dentistry

Hi lovely, I'm from the UK and and interested in studying medicine in Romania. What universities would u recommend I apply to? I honestly don't trust the advice given by agencies online.
Hey I know a few students who went through an agency, but I don't know how good they were. I applied directly through the university website. What agencies are you looking at? Email me at sciencebbeauty@gmail.com.
UMF"Iuliu Hatieganu" Cluj-Napoca is the best one ftom the whole country. There are a lot of foreign students from many countries.
Universitatea de Medicină și Farmacie Craiova or "Carol Davila" în Bucharest
Do they operate on dummies or real patient while teaching

Those guys found a couch left outside by somebody and they want to sell it for a cheap vodka bottle !!!
Haha! Had no clue that’s what they were saying. 😀
so sweet
Ohhh you live in Iași 😂😂😂 Sf Maria is the worst hospital in the city in my opinion
I totally feel you. I'm a high school student here. Very disorganized and communist blocks everywhere. I hate the way they look.
Welcome to Romania and his coruption and his poor this is why we hate Romania.
Well no problem for us , go to other European country if you don’t like the communist blocks.
What you are saying shows IGNORANCE, for your knowledge we were under communist party for 42 years . And shows how pathetic and hateful you are.
Daria Costea not really Poor tho
where in romania?
I'm in Iasi!
@@thesciencebehindbeauty are you in GT POPA MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
Out of all the schools in Eastern Europe Romania is not the best one imo. Czech Republic,Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine, etc provide better medical education. Allot of guys i know who were booted out of medical school in those counties would end up going to Romania and they'd tell me how easy it was.
Ukraine provides better medical education than Romania? Really? I'm honestly curious coz I've been studying in Ukraine and I'm now looking at the possibility of transferring to Romania

Hi ! Nice vlog, i just want to Know if romanian are racist🙄
Hi Grace thanks! Hmm... sometimes lol! It's not so much the racism, but its the staring that you can never get used to!
Nu există racism!
i’m from Romania, and some people definetly are racist! especially if you are a person of color, you will get a lot of staring, maybe even harassing.
@@catalina3163 Yes but staring doesn't mean racist. People usually stare when they see something uncommon. Romania didn't enslave anybody so that's why they don't have many black skinned people... Just like you'll be stared at as a white person in China
Not really.. not like in the US .. the black people that are here are all very educated and in universities so its not a stigma against them .. but people stare because there is not a big black comunity and they are not used to see black people.. but promise people are not evil and racist.
Is Romania a racist country?
Apaixonado por F1 lol no but we are still pretty new to new races because of communism so we are pretty homogeneous.
Hello
Please how do I contact you via email?
I would love it if you can recommend universities in Romania that offers Nursing ?
