Beautiful vibrato decisions, great supporting parts and harmonies, really engaging voice timbre, resolving in a very beautiful guitar part (thanks to the performer, as well). Congratulations. Great "start". Covers are relatable, but originals are always closer to heart. I've also recommended that track to somebody. Let's see what happens.
i've just finished watching the video, and it seems like Mikoto is in a coma and is questioning whether she should go, or wake up. she's keeps on fighting to find a reason to continue because she keeps on remembering her troubled past and she doesn't want to go back there anymore. but then she decides that she'll give it another go and try to move on with her life because, as she said, she knows that someone will be out there for her. hence why we see her on the hospital bed at the very end. her left arm is also bandaged throughout the whole video too!
I know it's a late reply, but I really like your interpretation. My mind always goes to a dark place, so I was reading into the lyrics as being about some kind of trauma or PTSD, which the singer deciding to attempt suicide in the hope that they'd meet someone in the afterlife, when there were people in the real world waiting all along who sent them messages in the hospital. The coma is so much less sad.

The song, the tuning, the visuals- they are all outstandingly beautiful. It's unbelievable how high quality this is. Meika voice sounds incredible, they're so well tuned and the emotion that is expressed in their voice is just amazing! I honestly teared up a little :') The amount of work that went into this must've been arduous- not just this song but everything that kyaami has put up so far, all of her covers and art- it's been a long time coming. When this song came out three years ago, I posted about how my heart was breaking, crying out from past trauma preventing me from pursuing my dreams as a voice actress. Now healing and diagnosed with VCD (vocal chord dysfunction) I'm unable to sing the transliterated vocaloid songs I've been writing for almost a year. I was so moved by this song again having it in my feed that I felt called to write and post my singable lyrics with my incorporated story in it (shadows I'd seen while hallucinating as my first manic episode happened, about 3 years ago the week before covid hit). Anyway, I rarely post my interpretations of songs online anymore and instead write songs. Here's my interpretation of this wonderful masterpiece through my eyes and heart and ears. I'm glad that I listened past the intro. I wasn't into the sad piano, but the rest of the song is such a powerful technoesque ballad of sorts. Mikoto finding her hope at the end, and getting to see her at the hospital with notes from all her friends, getting the help she needed from all of this; all of it made me tear up. I was so happy for her!! I L O V E the parts of the movie where she's animated to speak/sing to the camera. I love animations like that in videos. I have no idea why im so addicted to that, but it's so aesthetic.

I have been a vocaloid fan for so many years. (From 9 years old to now, 16 years old) Never have I heard tuning better than your tuning, it sounds vibrant, and slices so satisfyingly through the music. Not only that, but now a days I feel like vocaloid music, like the originals, lost their touch. Many of them are so not original, or the melody sounds too weird, or the concept doesn't have a relatable meaning. But this? It makes me feel so satisfied. i've just finished watching the video, and it seems like Mikoto is in a coma and is questioning whether she should go, or wake up. she's keeps on fighting to find a reason to continue because she keeps on remembering her troubled past and she doesn't want to go back there anymore.
but then she decides that she'll give it another go and try to move on with her life because, as she said, she knows that someone will be out there for her.
hence why we see her on the hospital bed at the very end. her left arm is also bandaged throughout the whole video too!
I know it's a late reply, but I really like your interpretation. My mind always goes to a dark place, so I was reading into the lyrics as being about some kind of trauma or PTSD, which the singer deciding to attempt suicide in the hope that they'd meet someone in the afterlife, when there were people in the real world waiting all along who sent them messages in the hospital. The coma is so much less sad.

The song, the tuning, the visuals- they are all outstandingly beautiful. It's unbelievable how high quality this is. Meika voice sounds incredible, they're so well tuned and the emotion that is expressed in their voice is just amazing! I honestly teared up a little :')
The amount of work that went into this must've been arduous- not just this song but everything that kyaami has put up so far, all of her covers and art- it's been a long time coming. When this song came out three years ago, I posted about how my heart was breaking, crying out from past trauma preventing me from pursuing my dreams as a voice actress. Now healing and diagnosed with VCD (vocal chord dysfunction) I'm unable to sing the transliterated vocaloid songs I've been writing for almost a year. I was so moved by this song again having it in my feed that I felt called to write and post my singable lyrics with my incorporated story in it (shadows I'd seen while hallucinating as my first manic episode happened, about 3 years ago the week before covid hit). Anyway, I rarely post my interpretations of songs online anymore and instead write songs. Here's my interpretation of this wonderful masterpiece through my eyes and heart and ears.

Though I had to admit flower's Close to You is my all-time favorite even now. Many kudos to you for bringing the song AND character to life.
I love this song because it is characteristic of a cillia/kyaami song: the vocals can be passed off as a human's with the way how it was tuned. I believe the song's themes, through the illustrations, delve into a story that I have yet to understand (couldn't understand Japanese unfortunately), but will certainly look at at a later date.
This marks your long-waited debut as a producer! I hope with this song many will come to find your talent in synthesizing, and enjoy it as we long-time fans have throughout the years!

I'm not sure if this was the intention, but as someone with PTSD I relate to this on such a deep level. I didn't realize why the song resonated so much with me until I took the time to fully read through the lyrics. And for that matter, it's been an incredibly long time since I heard a Vocaloid song so good that it has literally made me shudder. Thank you for creating something so amazing. I love this.

I have been a vocaloid fan for so many years. (From 9 years old to now, 16 years old) Never have I heard tuning better than your tuning, it sounds vibrant, and slices so satisfyingly through the music. Not only that, but now a days I feel like vocaloid music, like the originals, lost their touch. Many of them are so not original, or the melody sounds too weird, or the concept doesn't have a relatable meaning. But this? It makes me feel so satisfied.
