Oh my god. Rewatching this gave me so many memories and a huge nostalgia crush. This is the first song I ever listened to that was a VOCALOID song, and when I went on vacation in Japan this was always the song I played when I was alone- at the shops, in my hotel room, wherever as long as it wasn't the arcades- I was too absorbed in ONGEKI over there. Listening to it again after a couple of years has given me a happiness that I cannot express. It's unlocking memories of better times. I'll always be grateful for joining this community. ok. im not a huge fan of new vocaloids, but i definitely do like them. i like the concept of two female twins (unlike rin and len kagamine) but i also believe that vocaloid producers should work on the older vocaloids too. utatane piko is still in vocaloid 2, and meiko and kaito need a v5 update in my opinion. i have no problem with the producers putting out new vocaloids, but they should also work on older ones as well. opinions? woah ok you guys chill out i know theyre nonbinary and not necessarily twins but i found that out AFTER i wrote what’s above. explaining myself time: why i thought they were female: they both haD skirts in my opinion (but i saw that mikoto was wearing shorts in 1, 2, fanclub) and they both have fairly feminine voices, their voice actress is female as well. of course this doesnt PROVE that theyre female, but i made an assumption based on these circumstances. why i related thought they were twins: they come out together. i thought it was kinda like a rin/len thing where they can be anything you see them as, and i saw them as twins, like how i see rin and len. but this isnt even what i asked. only one or two people actually answered the question being asked.
a lot of times, vocaloids don't get updated because of contact issues or sales issues. there's good reasons why some vocals don't get updated, and usually its money related. as stated in a different comment, none of CFM vocaloids are ever going to get V5. They're moving to Piapro. also, the Meika's aren't twins or girls. I do see where you're coming from all of this but you have to think logically. You can open a store with 60's clothing fasion sense but you aren't going to make much profit. It's the same with Vocaloids. They have to create what fits the trends, and if they didn't make much money with their old Vocals, why would they waste thousands of dollars updating them? If the producers wanted to use them, they would've bought them before, and they would've updated them by now

Google "Hatsune Miku NT" and you can see her demo songs! they just will no longer will be for the vocaloid engine. I read somewhere that meiko and kaito are next in line after Miku! which makes sense, since there's going to be a new engine they need to sell. Also, you're valid

ok. im not a huge fan of new vocaloids, but i definitely do like them. i like the concept of two female twins (unlike rin and len kagamine) but i also believe that vocaloid producers should work on the older vocaloids too. utatane piko is still in vocaloid 2, and meiko and kaito need a v5 update in my opinion. i have no problem with the producers putting out new vocaloids, but they should also work on older ones as well.

woah ok you guys chill out i know theyre nonbinary and not necessarily twins but i found that out AFTER i wrote what’s above. explaining myself time:
why i thought they were female: they both haD skirts in my opinion (but i saw that mikoto was wearing shorts in 1, 2, fanclub) and they both have fairly feminine voices, their voice actress is female as well. of course this doesnt PROVE that theyre female, but i made an assumption based on these circumstances.
why i related thought they were twins: they come out together. i thought it was kinda like a rin/len thing where they can be anything you see them as, and i saw them as twins, like how i see rin and len.
but this isnt even what i asked. only one or two people actually answered the question being asked.
Meiko and Kaito won't get V5 updates, Miku, Luka and the Kagamines won't get them either. Crypton Future Media left the Vocaloid engine.

i didnt know that. when did that happen?
a lot of times, vocaloids don't get updated because of contact issues or sales issues. there's good reasons why some vocals don't get updated, and usually its money related.
as stated in a different comment, none of CFM vocaloids are ever going to get V5. They're moving to Piapro.
also, the Meika's aren't twins or girls.
I do see where you're coming from all of this but you have to think logically. You can open a store with 60's clothing fasion sense but you aren't going to make much profit. It's the same with Vocaloids. They have to create what fits the trends, and if they didn't make much money with their old Vocals, why would they waste thousands of dollars updating them? If the producers wanted to use them, they would've bought them before, and they would've updated them by now

but meiko and kaito are still loved by lots of people. also, i think i did know that they werent girls or twins but i found out after i wrote whats above. its sad that crypton won’t be making or updating any more vocaloids, they’re amazing in my opinion. but.. what can you really do.
@@uhanyways9845 actually, crypton will be updating meiko and kaito! just for their piapro engine. they're staring with Miku though. Google "Hatsune Miku NT" and you can see her demo songs! they just will no longer will be for the vocaloid engine. I read somewhere that meiko and kaito are next in line after Miku! which makes sense, since there's going to be a new engine they need to sell. Also, you're valid
