THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! ❤ I can't afford a lazer printer.😢 I've been wanting to put a photo on a hoodie for a long time - a birthday gift for my brother. But I've been unclear about what products and how to do it all. I've had my Cricut for a couple of years but kinda lost motivation, so it's been sitting... I have several garments packed safely away, HOPING to one day figure it all out. I'm so glad I ran across your tutorial this morning! I love your methods of teaching!👌 And I'm also very happy I'm catching the printable vinyl on SALE!!👍 🎉 Thank you so much. I'll be continuing to watch your channel. 😊

Always enjoy your videos! You mentioned when you used the light printable iron on the dark shirt it gave a vintage feel and indeed it does look vintage. Question - have you ever tried distressed logos and/or lettering (the distressed type fonts) using the light printable iron on on a dark shirt? I get a lot of requests to make the distressed look but don't want to weed all those tiny pieces using HTV. And at this point I'm not ready to commit to sublimation or screen printing yet. It seems like it would work fine but you are the pro! Thanks

So I'm wondering if anyone is having this problem I am. I haven't had any issues using the paper for dark colors. It's only the ones for light fabrics I'm having continuous issues. When printing I don't have issues. It's when I let the product, so far 2 t-shirts, printed with anything black in it. When washed after I let it set for 2 days or more, then wear, or wash, the black will bleed on different areas of the picture. I've seen a couple other colors very very lightly on different spots, but it's always the black. It doesn't spread on the shirt, but just the printed and ironed on picture.
    Anyone else?
Anyone have the slightest clue why only the 1 for light colored fabrics?

    • @rese7878

@AngieHolden it's mainly with black. I even found others on Google have had it happen and they've said it smears onto the white as did mine. They've suggested using ru bing alcohol and stupid me did very lightly in between areas and it seemed to smear it more. I used the 'I'm a freakin' ray of sunshine' with a unicorn from Creative Fabrica, and the unicorn has specks of black, and the lettering ran a bit. The f in of is faded more than any letter. Again I don't experience this at all with the 1 for dark colors. So I'm baffled.

I wonder if it is your print settings. Maybe too much ink?

@AngieHolden that's what I wondered, but it's not doing it on the dark product. I go and put the setting to high quality as suggested. Maybe bad batch of paper or something, but it's the fact that others experience this random issue after the 1st wash using the light product on their shirts.

Sorry not sure! Unless your shirt has some sort of coating on it. You may wash it and try again.

You could always make a paper cut out of the negative spaces of the design to place multiple pieces

What is the difference between this product and others via Amazon? If it’s just the name Cricut, I will stick with other brands I’ve tested and really like. They come with a lot more than 3 sheets for less price. Cricut is getting nutty with their pricing. IMO of course.

Oh there are other brands that work well and I have reviewed many of those.

Have you or anyone else here used this and dried the shirt in the dryer (normal cycle/temp)? Im 100% sure if anyone in my house "helps" with laundry, my shirt is going to end up getting dried lol. Just wondering how this might hold up.

Mine usually end up in the drier. It will shorten the life. Not sure by how much.

I've used this to make onesies for my grandbaby. My daughter washed and dried the onesie in the dryer once. The vinyl was horrible, cracked, wrinkled, and looked like it was peeling.

Faded slightly??..... ummmm its basically gone off the shirt. Disappointed this didn't pan out. Are you a cricut ambassador or sponsor?

It did only fade slightly. I was impressed with the product. Cricut did not sponsor this in any way. I purchased all supplies myself.
