  • We just spent a week at the Lincoln / Woodstock KOA in New Hampshire's White Mountains. This is a really nice campground in a quiet, scenic area. Watch our review to see the campsites, amenities, and highlights of the surrounding area. Learn what White Mountain National Forest has to offer.

I had a seasonal site here in the mid 80's. So close to all things hiking in NH. I didn't spend much time on site as I was always off enjoying Mother Nature. I don't think it was a KOA back then it was just called Broken Branch.

We enjoyed so much great hiking there too. I'd love to go back!

Great review on my home state of NH and its White Mountain region. So much to see and do, you definitely have to come back! Mount Washington should be on your list! We have not stayed at the KOA but it will be on our list now, especially if we visit with the grandkids. Safe travels.

We definitely want to go back to summit Mt Washington. It wasn’t in the cards this time. We couldn’t take the auto road because dual wheeled trucks aren’t allowed and we couldn’t take our dog on the cog rail. They were experiencing a heatwave so the outdoor kernels weren’t an option for our dog.

It’s a beautiful state for sure! I didn’t hear you mention driving up any. Washington. We did it in 1981 with our first two little ones and.... never again! So so scary driving that!! But an amazing mountain with a weather station that once recorded a wind of I believe it was 231 MPH. CRAZY!
Glad you enjoyed it. Stay safe!!

We have a dually truck and they aren’t allowed on the auto road to Mount Washington. I would have liked to take the cog railway up, but we didn’t want to leave the dogs. Next time…

@@ChickerysTravels oooh. I also drive a dually and having been up it in aBlazer I totally understand that!! lol
The Cog tail looks amazing but very scary! ( I have a fear of heights due to a middle ear/no hearing in right ear. Chuckled when I got my draft notice in’71. I PASSED THE PHYSICAL?? So glad tho for the 4 years in the USAF!! Totally covered with the Va now in retirement!{even hearing AIDS. lol})
      Enjoy your travels!!
      God Bless!🇺🇸🇺🇸
