What is your most reliable terrarium plant?
I’m in QLD Australia but the Fittonia ‘nerve plant’ LOVES life in a terrarium.. planted a couple before I knew anything about substrate etc and about 2 years later it grows prolifically and is so bright and beautiful!
Thanks for your amazing informative videos :D
Pilea glauca no doubt, goes nuts in my terrariums! To point where it's actually a bit annoying 😆 very cool plant though other than that!
Hello I am contacting you to know for the cash on delivery I live in France I want to know if the price will be the same or if there will be costs I would like to know how much it will cost me to pay on delivery

Thank you Master, I shall learn.
Is @4:04 the same as an oak leaf creeping fig (Ficus Pumila Quercifolia?) Or are they slightly different variants that would need different care instructions? I'm trying to not kill mine
Miniature ivy
Adakah subtitle Indonesia nya?
This is so cool to watch. Im loving all of your videos so far. Do you only build for yourself? Do you take commissions? I'm in the US and I've already read that you can not ship outside the UK. Love the builds and information. Keep them coming!
You can get his book anywhere
Heath ledger hasn’t passed, he just got tired of the spotlight so he retired and got into the art of terrarium construction
Yesss 😊
I added pilea and the tiny oak leaf plant cuttings to my terrarium and they turned yellow then brown and died. I misted them daily and kept them in admittedly low light (next to another terrarium with a light). What could I have done wrong? Are these not low light plants?
It would be extremely helpful to put a printable list of the plants in the notes.
Hi, what is the spiky plant in the background at 2:50? Thank you for these videos. U prevented potential headaches!
This is the way
Can I use herbs?
ficus sp colombia should be on this list
Can I use string of hearts?
can i use string of hearts also on closed bottle terrariums?
i just love all selaginella
Where in Manchester can I buy these plants or miniature plants I've been to all local garden centre nothing thanks 👌💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
You look like Brandon Boyd.
Where do you get your lovely glass? :)
Can you get these plants in USA and where do you recommend?
I have a question, does used brewed tea good for growing moss in terrarium ?
When you said the miniature ivy cuttings had failed you the first time, until you attempted it in a terrarium, how else were you propagating them? Just in pots?
Like
Have you tried Codonanthe? It reminds me of string of turtles, although I have never grown SOT. I just put a cutting in a terrarium to see.
can i ask about moss in paludarium ? i am trying with many species but they grow yellow over time and i dont know what i am doing wrong.... maybe nutriens in watter ?
Hey when getting a cutting, do you need the nodes or no? It looks like you aren’t
Can you plant in one of those jars a Christmas tree🌲
Your videos are awesom and informative. Im worki g on my first terrariums. Im in the UK. I really need to know where I can buy plants suitable for terrarium.
hi there
i have recently taken interest in terrariums after watching your video
can you advice me, can i make closed terrariums using an alocasia azlanii and alocasia melo?
both are slow growing alocasias and are unpredictable in where is live, hence i thought could they live and thrive in a terrarium?
my further questions would be where the plant will get its nutrients from.
thanks for your expert guide, if you reply, which i humbly dont expect you would but i hope you will
J from Malaysia
HAHAHAHAHA! I'm a total beginner, what are the odds that I just happen to have miniature ivy growing in my garden, mine's even a variegated type haha!
Sorry, I'm just so used to never having access to plants I want/need for projects due to climate and circumstances, and to find out I have the most difficult plant on your list to get just sitting there growing neglected in my garden. Heh.
@worcester terrariums hey can you make this same video for north American plants cuz i don't think any are native to my area
un nuevo corte de cabello te daría muy bien. un peinado con flecos capas ;)
is it normal for my selaginella to get al soggy ugly leaves after putting it in my terrarium for the first time. The leave got wet on top could that be the problem? Or is it part of aclumating? Could too low of light cause it. This happend in 2 days of getting it
Have you ever tried a schefflera umbrella plant? I planted a baby in my terrarium just waiting to see how fast it grows lol,
I know they can get very big, but I figured I would try since it's a tropical plant and I can just yltrim it back, but It may grow too fast inside here lol
I visited a nursery recently and asked about using string of turtle in my terrarium. They said it was a succulent. I am glad to hear I can use it.
I’m super late but it’s actually a SEMI-succulent! :DD
My daughter planted some string of turtles in her terrarium and it’s doing really well. She planted it higher up closer to the light source and on a ledge so it gets misted every day with water ( the whole tank does) but it isn’t sitting in damp wet like some of the plants near the bottom.
5:54 can anyone explain what is going on here? It looks like a propagation set up but I don't understand what's actually happening in the picture? Looks like a flask within a flask to help keep them suspended but also in a humid environment?
I think its just one oddly shaped container
Be very careful! I’ve been used and abused by these very same plants!
What ! i dont understood
I think if found a new hobby.
Going from those giant outdoor plants to the tiny terrarium cuttings...they're adorable!
❤❤❤
Great to see your talk today Ben at GW Live. great job. Tony
Love this informative video! And the soothing accent haha. Gorgeous plants, set up and dreamy terrariums
Can Bolivian Jew plant grow in a terrrium ?
Does anyone ever tell you that you look like Heath Ledger wow took me by surprise
Love from India ❤
Thank you for these videos. I recently acquired a few large jars, and thought I'd give it a bash. Just a month later, and I've got 8 terrariums on the go! Once you get the basic supplies (lava rock, coco coir etc, and some plants), each subsequent build gets easier.
Thank you!!
Thank you for your advice
Hi, I think your Miniature Ivy took root easily in the terrarium because it generally preferes indoor conditions. In my country it's considered an exclusively indoor plant. :D
I already have string of turtles! Hes a super happy plant, i cant get him to stop flowering! I'm so excited for the opportunity to use him in my first terrerium ❤
Absolutely fascinating ❤
Love the video! Just starting my plant collection. Happy to already have a few in this list:)! Definitely keep me in mind if you got any wacky ideas for glass vessels ,I'd be happy to make them! 🖖
How's it going?
Great video! Very informative. Thank you.
What a cool channel! Is it possible/practical to grow culinary mushrooms in a terrarium together with moss or other moisture and shade loving plants? I like the idea of plants breathing CO2 and fungi breathing O2 next to each other in a closed system.
Superrrrr. Wishes from tamilnadu ,india
Hello! I discovered your channel today and I really like it!!! I want to thank you for your precious tips! I also have a lot of difficulty propagating hedera (ivy) and now I will try to follow your advice! 😀😀😀
Thank you 😊 Just what I needed to hear!
Satisfyingly informative video, as always. Thanks for this!
Thank you for sharing your vast knowledge on terrariums!!!! I've been learning alot 😌
Thank you very much for the list. I am always looking for terrarium plants that work.
The second plant, looks like what grows wild in my back yard here in Rhode Island, USA! And I’ve put it in several of my terrariums, too! I had no idea what it was lol
Fantastic video. So useful to me - a beginner terrarium creator. Subscribed, shared to my Pinterest terrarium board.
Tu es mon seigneur jedi 🙏🏼 merci pour tout tes conseils si précieux pour moi ❤ bon baiser de France 🇫🇷
When I made a terrarium I found my Asparagus Fern worked really well as did Fittonias.
I love the music and your voice in your videos. Very relaxing.
I found the video helpful. I enjoy growing plants outside and taking clippings to bring in and grow in my terrarium. I recently brought in eight oak leaf ficus. They had recently sprouted and all of them had roots. I love to grow my own plants. I don't have to shop for small plants that are suitable which can be hard to find and I appreciate the plants more when I have grown them.
Which plants do you grow outside, and where do you live?
Thank you so much for going into the details of how these plants grow in their natural environment! Something that is hard to find with some of the less common plants. Appreciate your knowledge sharing!
I’m really digging this - definitely appreciate your channel man! 🤙🏼😄
could you make a video about 5 plants that grow the slowest
mini ivy??? I *knew* there was something like that out there, but I could never find info about them. Time to ask around next time I find a nursery. I know english ivy takes to terrariums like wildfire, so a smaller version will be welcome.
Hi, I'm a beginner with a terrarium, so I am very happy with this video. Thank you :)
Oh no not that evil English Ivy. It has devoured the urban landscape here in the Pacific northwest USA.
New Subscriber here, I have watched so many of your videos today, thx for all of the info Ben.
I have succulents for my terrarium; do I need a lid if they are in a 10 gallon tank with lighting?
Id like to make a zoom lesson with you (Im from Czech republic) but i have no idea what topics to bring on. I got many plants and terrariums, im doing many closed terraiums too. Just the thought about having a talk with someone whos sharing the same hobby makes me happy TBH. Only thing im not satisfied with is the design of my terrariums but im not sure thats something you can help me with. Or is it ? Anyway, im glad there is someone like you, sharing the love and experience about this hobby with the rest of the world. Thank you for all of this :)
Thanks! Feel free to book a Zoom! It may be good to jot down some questions beforehand. The option is always there 😊

Have you ever used orchids in your Terrariums?
Is it ok to use snipped off cuttings of terrarium plants and ferns or should I try pinch off more with roots?
i love your videos, thanks for sharing
I am growing oregano and couldn’t get the sprouts to go into the next stage and develop their true leaves. So I placed the sprouts back into a zip lock baggie and sealed it shut and in under a single week the oregano plant has tripled in size. I wonder if they would do well in a terrarium setting.
Thanks for this needed info! New subbie!
Is it possible to create a terrarium in a glass dish without a lid?
Found a small 5 gallon slate bottom aquarium that I can't wait to get started with. I haven't done one in such a long time, excited to get started on a new project. Don't know if I'm going to have to put a top on it or not. I'll see what I come up with. Appreciate your videos. The plants are so beautiful. Nice job.
I bought some String of Turtles at a local plant sale, and I wondered why it hasn't been doing well. Now that i know that it's an epiphyte, hopefully I can take better care of it. Thank you!
Thank you for your time and production ... #Producers
Selaganella can dry out and remain crispy, so to speak, for the longest time. Add water and it will come back to life. They even grow in deserts.
Have you ever grow a edible mushroom terrarium? Talking about beautiful!
Great video! Thanks!
Just starting out with Terrariums so this was very helpful. Thank you for sharing.
That beat at the end of the video is amazing!
Que pena no puedo verlo pues no hay subt.en español.
What great information, thank you.
Sir, what do you mean by "Soleirolia that, it has insufficient light" ?
