I did this recently but with my New Year's Resolutions! I noticed I had to rethink and rewrite, because I was falling back into my old routine where my goals are centered around me and not God. In the past I would've put, "get abs, drink more water, travel to a new state, get a new electronic I want, etc". But those are only goals that revolve around the improvement of myself, not God. So I had to reevaluate what my ACTUAL goals are. And not just write down ones that result in temporary pleasures.

Hey Sis ! I think that by saying "gets abs, drink more water" you mean taking better care of your body. You can take care of your body in a Godly way, because your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit ! So according to the Word of God (1Co 6:19) there is nothing "bad" to take care of it, we actually have to because our bodies are not our own,God has lend them to us, and when someone lend you something you better give it back in a proper conditions haha! Just submit that to God,But that is actually a way to glorify Him, with your body and your health (1CO 10:31) ♡
R LOUSSIKA I 100% agree. I feel like you also have to ask the question why? Why do I want abs? Why do I want to do anything really? And when I used to want abs and do things to where I can have "super clear" skin, it was more so I can look good to other people. So people can compliment me on how fit I am, how "cleanly" I'm living. It was for a self gratifying reason. Versus doing it strictly to take care of my body and show it some love. Of course, now it is not. But before it was. Which is why I changed it. And also those things were at the top and things that would grow my relationship with God were nowhere on the list. So that was also an issue of the past.

I recently heard a message from John Piper where he said the purpose of our lives should be to make Jesus look magnificent. Isn't that wonderful? Sometimes sermons are hard to put into daily practice in the real world. I found this phrase easy to remember in order to make it a goal to strive for. How can I make Jesus (not myself!) look MAGNIFICENT in this situation?
He actually already IS magnificent. We don't have to build Him up or exaggerate. We just have to 1) remember that He is infinitely magnificent, and 2) look for ways to make that plain to others! (I get all excited even just thinking about it.)
May you grow even closer to Him in 2018!

I am 11 years old my mom said that if u read the Bible ur religious and I said no some people read the Bible because they want to get better like in a bad situation but I think that I am religious I watched almost all ur videos and I never loved reading the Bible I thought I was not religious now I am and thank u god blessed!!!

No religious would basically be believing in something that doesn’t exist such as worshiping things that does nothing like a statue people also read the Bible to get closer to God and so that we can love Him more and more and we also read the Bible to know which is right or wrong we don’t just read the Bible bcz we have to but because we get to. We get to worship God we get to know more about him. It’s like a best friend we always try to get to know them and learn new stuff about them God reaveals more and more stuff about Himself that we just want to keep getting to know him bcz we love him so much ik this was long but I hope it made sense lol
I just love your videos. They are so inspiring. I believe God lead me to find your videos because since then I have been more and more interacting with God. Like I’ve been praying so much more, I read my bible and reflect on each chapter. You and your sister are so inspiring to me. I’m catholic and the church defiently doesn’t really reach out to a younger generation so sometimes it’s hard to stay focused and have just been feeling so lost and then I found your channel and I don’t feel like that anymore. I’ve been doing my own studies, reading through the Bible, journaling, studying. Thank you girls so much! God has truly blessed you girls with the abilities to reach out and share his word and passion.

I'm from Lithuania. When I was about thirteen or twelve years old I really believed in God (although I was not indifferent to him before). I experienced a lot of difficulties at a certain time. I've been very well. Now, I think that I would not have experienced difficulty without God. God is always with us. And his love is indescribable. This was a good prompt dear.. I have had worldly goals and once I achieved them.. I felt empty.. but as I came to know Jesus.. I found that my biggest purpose in life is to glorify Him in all that I do.. It’s good that you are sharing this with everyone..God bless you😊

I really enjoy watching your videos and you are helping me through my journey to becoming a strong Christian. I wasn’t baptized as a Christian but I plan on doing it once I fully commit myself and feel that I am putting100% into god and you really help me with this channel. I just really wish I had friends who are Christian and a church near my home to help me because that is making it soooo much more harder for me.

Thank you for sharing Ashley! This ties in well with New Years to evaluate whether our goals are God-centered. I am a young stay at home mom and my goal is to glorify Him by being faithful in the small things, consistency in showing love and patience to my family as God does with us, caring for my home and being diligent in managing finances so we can give, serving in my church, and being authentic in my friendships. I have struggled with not feeling the validation of a career (I used to teach elementary school) instead of valuing my current role. This video was very eye opening, thank you for sharing this journaling prompt! We can glorify God in all things!

Hi, I think coffee all together isn't good for our body! As Christian we have to remember that our body is a temple also! The caffeine in coffee stop our body from producing natural energy and that's why so many people become addicted to coffee! Herb tea is better for our body! 3John 1:2
