Thanks for the kind words and I'm glad you found it useful. I still refer to this book a lot as I gradually move to Affinity Photo from Photoshop. There's a companion book for Affinity Illustrator also that is very good.

Thank you for this very detailed review. I've been sitting on the fence of this book for a while, and one question I'd like to ask (if you have the time): Does the book stand up well with the updated versions of Affinity Photo as time passes?

It has for me, Russ. It covers the basics and once you get the hang of them (very much like PS) you can figure out the new features. The book for Designer is very good also. I bought both.
