I like your approach demonstrating that cheaper used cameras can produce very fine and sharp photos. I think all new in photography should consider a used dslr, there are so much out there to pick.
Aren't I'm glad I'm a bit of a hoarder. I still have some of these cameras you see on UA-cam channels like this when they first came out. I've just had my EOS10D serviced and sensor cleaned. It probably cost me as much as it's worth on eBay, but there is something about the 'feel' of the images it takes that I like. I use a EOS 6D Mk ii for my main stuff, but love to play with these cameras too.

Brian, there is nothing like a 10D with its soft image quality. I wouldn't trade mine for anything.
