@@scottcannell5584 I model the 1920-1950 on the Nickel Plate, graffiti back then was not as prevalent or non existent back then. But I do admit for today’s rolling stock it is necessary. Also I am not a rivet counter, my feeling is it is your railroad, your money your time do your thing😀👍👍
You had a good railfanning experience in Glendale, Ojio on 22 July 2024, Jaw Tooth! The manifest freight trains had a variety of freight cars on them. Thank you for taking the time to capture these trains for us to enjoy! (Posted 7 August 2024 at 1620 CDT.)
Wow that was an awesome video Jawtooth. Those were some log trains. And that shot of the articulated flat car was cool. And a good meal to boot. You can’t beat that. Take care and have a good one!👍❤️
7:43 The loco must have been sitting on the gate actuator, unsuccessfully tried to move forward, bringing the gates down the first time. The gates went up as it had to back up to capture the coupler slack so it could move forward again. Then gates went down again. And indeed, there's a long, heavy train trailing.
Punks, punks, punks. Sometimes I think there are more punks with spray cans than there are railroad cars. On a more positive note, what a great place to train-watch is Glendale. Thanks for the video, Brian.
I thought the Cock and Bull was sold and now it's called something else. I always love a good EOT DPU but then again, there aren't any bad ones. It takes a lot of power to get all that mass moving. Nice train meet. Great Glendale action, enjoyed it much. Thanks JT!
Wow! Excellent catching all the trains in Glendale, Ohio, I like them, they're awesome, I already uploaded the video of mine, that says, "Wednesday railroad equipment", this includes the special hi-railer that kills all the weeds, in both short and long video, @JawTooth, Brian, thank you very much and have a nice day and night.
Hey jaw tooth awesome trains and restaurant . I'd eat on second floor by window and watch trains while eating. Wish they get rid of no horn zones. Glad to see new kitty is doing great. Is your mouth all better? Have a great railroad day. 🚂🙋♀️
I love Glendale, it should be on every railfans list of places to visit for a great day out. Awesome trains lovely town great history & a fab place to go & eat right by the tracks. Perfect JT. ❤😊👍

Another awesome awesome video JT and I bet those yellow flat cars that was on that southbound. I bet they’re gonna be handed over to Norfolk Southern because they are flat hauling some pipe to New Orleans right now. They have been doing it for over a month and it’s 80 foot long by 48 inches wide And they put 11 sticks of pipe per car. They pull no less than 100 car loads and up to 135 with two engines on the point and one DPU but they are bringing two loaded ones down every day and two empty ones going back north every day but they bringing them to New Orleans and handing them over to BNSF and they’re taking them into Texas where they rebuild a lot of pipelines because the pipelines is wore out they paper thin, I have some buddies of mine that’s welders over there and Texas. Looks like a spaghetti bowl with pipelines running all over and that pipe is also covered in that green paint that protects it when it’s underground but anyway, my friend you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one.
A spectacular video today, JT! I certainly enjoyed it. Great trains with firsts for me, such as the articulated flat car! I always love seeing your pets. Please tell them I said hi. I finally got caught up, woo hoo! Thank you very much, my friend!! I we chat soon! 😃😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤❤
I think it's cool how there are so many rail fans where you're at. It doesn't seem like there's many rail fans here in Colorado. I'm always looking for them, though.
That articulated flat car is a spine car. They carry semi trailers & shipping containers. Also whenever they load shipping containers on them, they don't double stack them like they do on the intermodal well cars.
We had a very long auto rack with a mid-train DPU that met a long mixed freight that also had a mid-train DPU! The manifest had a load of extra long load of what I believe was rail and an articulated flat car with 3 units! This is the first of its kind for me. Great catch, JT! 😄😄😄😄❤❤❤❤
Another awesome morning of trains in Ohio especially at the crossings of a nice city, trains with DPU'S, and of course the amazing live action pets with cats, dogs and horses as well as the music slide show thanks Jaw Tooth.🇺🇲🚂🚃🚃🚃🇺🇲
I'm sure with the activity Trackside dine and dash took on a new meaning today. Intermodal Autos General Freight all make their presence known. The freight that sat for a while either was on its way to or from hauling military equipment with the DODX fllats and other types mixed in. Perhaps some of the storage cars we had seen on the CCET had been converted into some of the ones that were in this group. Finally snapped the heat and humidity after a week so time to enjoy things Trackside again. A fine selection of railroad "lunchables"
Those GIANT 86ft boxcars will almost to always have auto parts inside. You will often see them with auto rack trains. I think the train symbol for the first train of the 2 train meet was M560 2nd train was M209 with the pair of CM44AH rebuilds
Wow there was as much bare table as there were containers on that Intermodal lol. I was wondering if they where keeping your meal warm for you lol. Where those flat cars near the end of train on track one ex-autoracks? Hey a meet Good Catch. May I ask about that large flat car I thought those were articulated spine cars for semi trailers or intermodal containers any ways another Great vid Have a Good One.
Yo Jawtooth. Another fantastic video. Just to let you know if you don't, I got 2 catches I didn't know were coming until 15 minutes prior. The 2nd train is one of my best catches. I hope you will enjoy?
We opened with an intermodal that had more empty cars than loads. It was followed by a fabulous long mixed freight! It had a very nice variety of freight, including several cars of long steel shapes I couldn't identify, and 4 loads of wonderful plate steel! This was a fantastic catch, JT!! 😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤
Another awesome video, JT. Those articulated cars must be the upand coming thing. Seems to be morecand more of them. Those AutoMax cars arecsomething else - another comment- I didn't realize that they are also articulated. Seeing vwhat can happen if they have to stop suddenly in regular auto stack car, that would make for a huge mess inside if an AutoMax car comes to a sudden stop.
Here you go Read at your leisure lol-The 86-foot high-cube boxcars were a fascinating development in rail transport. These massive boxcars, nearly as long as postwar streamlined passenger cars, stood taller than other freight cars. They were designed to efficiently carry low-density products, particularly auto body parts for the automotive industry. American Car & Foundry built the prototype in 1963, collaborating with railroads like Louisville & Nashville, Southern Pacific, and Wabash. Regular production began in 1964, with Greenville Steel Car Company, Pullman-Standard, and Thrall Car Manufacturing leading the way. These high-cube boxcars played a crucial role in moving parts from factories to automobile assembly plants, making them a unique and essential part of rail history12. Awesome video. Love that train meet. That first dpu sound great💪💪💪 forget dinner, a trains coming🤣 Thanks for the video Brian stay well roll on
Amazing videos jaw tooth keep up the good work
Was it just me or were the trains faster today? I think I can smell your meal. I think I’m hungry. Thanks for the videos as always!
Thanks for watchibg!
I see trains everyday without graffiti ………oh wait it is on my n scale layout. Great shot of the articulated flat car.
Yeah, they called them spine cars. That’s what they haul trailers on and they can also put single containers on them too.
I like the graffiti on the rolling stock I have a fair amount on my ho rolling stock 😊😊 just makes it more realistic in my opinion.
Hi jaw tooth another fantastic video as always. Always watching yours and 1960 gambit channels. From another rail fan down under 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

Great video JT, having your meal interrupted I think was worth it.👍👍
That DPU was so easy to see amongst the near invisible flat cars. DPU I REALLY see you!!!😅

As always, I enjoy your videos and comments, keep up the good work.
Oh and, I have a birthday coming up, August 15th, I will be 64 this year.
Thanks, will do!

You are a good guy to film trains and it's great😊
You got some long trains this time 😊
Yes, thanks
Wow, that was a lot of live action! I hope you had a cold sandwich for lunch with spending so much time outside. Thanks for sharing. 👍
22:11 the Automax cars are articulated too. I first noticed the accordion connection, then went back and paused to see one truck below.
Awesome video with a dpu working hard but wait there’s more to come 👍🚂😎🇺🇸👍
Love those meets Enjoyed the video

Hey! TWO Southern Pacific auto-racks, one with the old font and one with the Rio Grande font!!!
I used to live right next door to a busy rail line. All hours of the day, all hours of the night. Took a little while to get used to, but it was fun.

Surprised that DPU was in the middle of all bare tables. The dynamic forces could accordian the empties in front of it.
