I purchased the Pro 16x - I don't think it effects it's portability in any way. It's not cumbersome in any way, it's not heavy or overly large. From a usability perspective the only "negative" is the speakers. While the sound is of high quality, they don't project very well in my opinion. The quality of the display definitely lives up to the billing and the battery life is very good. I only charge it to 80% and it still runs close to 6 hrs. The keyboard feels good - I type at about 75+ wpm and, unlike most laptops, this keyboard doesn't slow me down. I have no real complaints.

I picked up an i7, 16Gb about six weeks ago and I love it. I have to say though I am an ASUS fan. I use the 16X as my main computer and have a Vivobook S14 as my 'out and about' laptop. Plus an older X555L as a backup. I find them reliable and stylish.

They are releasing a new G14 though which is still 14" but has the taller 16:10 aspect ratio. However, I think they've dropped Nvidia so just running AMD GPU. Worth having a little look though :)
This would have been undeserved of any second thought if it had an rtx 3060 in it. A 6gb gpu would have been perfection. I'm not a gamer but those specs would have future proofed me for future 3d design learning. But that dream spec exist in a much pricier notebook the ProArt Studiobook 16. But if I got to that budget I might as well consider the 14 inch MBP. AAAAAAAAAAA

i have this same top spec model, low key love it tbh I prefer my legion 5 pro tho but this packs a punchhhhhh and the battery life is actually seriously impressive. its large but its hella light. finger print magnet but super sleek and its like its never sleeps lol nice trackpad especially in aftereffects, its a preddi well rounded machine

OLED displays aren't intended for static images. Like the task bar, web tabs, software tools, etc. I know newer OLED tech has a much better life span and better screen burn protection but I think this laptop might be a pass.
Hey hey. That's cool dude. To help negate that they've added OLED care which has things like pixel shifting, screensavers, making all task bars transparent etc etc

I have no issues with the trackpad when typing. None at all. I do however accidentally do a two finger click (right click) when I mean to do a single click and it's because my palm is resting on it. I've adjusted but still do it occasionally.

Considering the screen is 'glossy', how was your experience on a day to day usage. Too many reflections and glare or is it manageable ???
