At Christmas I made 14 gnomes and absolutely ruined my hands. For reasons I don't understand my hands get super dry and then chapped when I'm building the gnomes and on top of that I end up with a lot of burns.
I switched to sewing these instead, especially the legs since they are so small and hard to glue gun without getting burned😩. I keep old scissors nearby to use as my "fingers" too 👌
@@SimpleMadePretty I bought myself a sewing machine and I'm now using scissors too. That said I still managed to give myself a nasty burn this weekend. Thank goodness for my aloe vera plant!
You can set the playback speed yourself by clicking on the tool icon (in the upper right corner on mobile) then select playback speed and adjust to your preference. Please let me know if that was helpful to know... in case watch any UA-cam video that's too fast for you, you can also pause and rewind.
You are so nice to listen and learn from. Made my first gnome learning from you!! Thank you for your tutorial. ♥️

You can also use chenille stems (pipe cleaners) to make the arms bendable. That is what I use for my crochet dolls.
Oh thank you so much for that tip!!
You are so talented ❤️ great job !
Thanks Nichole!

How did you make the female one with braids?
I used 15 stands of yarn per section (so 45 total stands of yarn) tied the end together and braided. Then wrapped around the top of the head/sock
These are really cute but I can't find the download pattern for the hands and feet. :(
Thank you! Did you check the video description? The link is there twice 👌
