I retired to Ajijic for a change in my life. Mexico is a wonderful change because the weather, the people, the scenery and the pace of life has been a great for me. As for the cost of living anything with an electric cord is more experience. Don't know why, most of those things are assemble in Mexico.

Los tacos de El Pescadito son los favoritos de mi hermano. Yo apenas los probé y me di cuenta que el estilo viene de Sonora (nunca he ido) y son muy distintos a los locales. Y si, me gustaron bastante.

"El Pescadito" looks great, I've seen a couple of videos from that place here in youtube, it's a must eat place for sure, of course I'll pay it a visit, I have some curiosity for that shrimp tacos. 3:00 p.m. it's usually break time from work to eat (here in Mexico City). Güera y Goyo, les recomiendo mucho Tortas La Castellana Av. Revolución 1309, Campestre, 01040 Ciudad de México, CDMX, México I've been going to that place for over 30 years for great tortas since I was a kid. That's the original. They do have other locations.
Las Taquerias El Pescadito son originarias de Hermosillo Sonora, las que hay en la CDMX son sucursales pero en general son los mismos de Hermosillo, yo los he comido en Hermosillo, Culiacan y por supuesto en CDMX

Hola a los dos, Those kind of tacos are very common in Mexicali (near Calexico, California) and Ensenada, Baja California also, are delicious, mostly are made with Cazon fish, egg, mustard, beer, flour, salt, and I guess that`s alll, are pretty common there, and is not so easy to find in Mexico City. But, I still prefer Pastor tacos. Greetings and keep doing this videos. Cheers !!
El Pescadito is a franchised fish taco stand from Hermosillo, Sonora. We have awesome food in Sonora, the BEST meat in Mexico (I know güera stays away from meat, but trust me this is the best you'll ever try in MX). Also, you should try Sonora Style Hotdogs, the owner of a dogo stand in CDMX is from Ciudad Obregón so it's the closest you're going to have to the real thing, the place is called Mounstron and this is the address Esperanza 1205, Narvarte, lun-vier 8-21 h, sáb-dom 12-00 h

This fish tacos sea food place looks like the Ensenada original Baja style fish tacos where born. I dunno if they use beer batter to enhance the crispness and flavor but they look good very similar.
In that same street, there is anothet taqueria where the taco are awesome. Is in the other side of the streetl in fact at a cornerl in fact just follow the lineñ
Great video guys. Not sure if it's a 'chain' but there is also an El Pescadito in the food court of Plaza Carso, the mall which is right behind the Museo Soumaya. They definitely have some fabulous tacos! Saludos from a fellow gringo in CDMX!

The best food in México city is the street markets' food. And you should try the mercado de la viga (la viga market) sea food. That's the place where all the sea food restaurants in México city buy their food. There is the cheaper and more fresh sea food in all México city.

Best tacos always will be thouse you prefer. I agree, even tacos I do prefer have them seated. You guys should visit Los Parados, El Califa, and Hostal de los Quesos at least.

Street taco vendors are called "tacos CALLEJEROS" amigos, su español y pronunciación esta mejorando mucho, sobre todo Goyo, mas fluido muy bien! 👌
Taco stand is puesto de tacos. It depends, if the taco stands have a good reputation, you should be fine. Anthony Bourdain talks about this on his México visits. The ones outside of the courthouses (Los Tribunales) you'll see Lawyers (Licenciados) in suits eating tacos before going into court. It's a crazy scene. Those tacos I highly recommend, but I get why people perfer a sit down taquería to be on the safe side. We have taquerías and puestos de tacos here in L.A. as well. Just nowhere near as good as in La Ciudad de México.
