A Fish Fry Fly-in. Stinson's and Kitfox's, STOL's and a Thrush. Oh my!

The plan was a Fish fry fly in for before dinner. The Stinson heads out and before you know it we have found the Super STOL. Woodchip finds us with his new Kitfox. There are so many fly in and so much food for a pilot to find on a sunny Saturday. Is there a better way to call pilot in than offer them food?

The gas station in town had rec fuel and it's walking distance with the fuel bags. Almost as good as Owasso.

Now that you have had the -2 for a while, how does it compare the -3 you had? Advantages or likes etc?

I sure like it ground handling and crosswind performance better. 25kt crosswind isn't even a consideration. The 10 gallons less fuel at a 10gal/hr burn rate limits the range. I have mitigated this by carrying fuel with me on occasion. I like the -2 a lot better than the -3.

Yes, it has a 582.
