I have a omen laptop (2020) but the most of choices are missing. Also every time I update omen gaming hub my laptop goes 2-3 deggres celsius up. After a year my system goes 30 C ++ on cpu, and 15 C++ on system. You make me think that this your target in order to buy more often laptops. This problem is also common with some of my friends, cause they have omen laptops. The thermal problem has became the main reason I will never buy hp. The hp support service after so much tries and times doesn't help me.

why with the new update does my omen 15 (2020) 2060 RTX, 16 GB Ram and i5 10300h and since the last update of the omen hub it doesnt let me modify the intensity of the fans, its the only thing that bugs me of the new update because the rest is good, comfort mode is nice and finally added and the rest is nice, only thing is fans and the fact that it tells me that my Cpu temps are unavailable. At first I didn't care about it but then I put it in performance mode and fired up a game and after 1 match I feel that the laptop is pretty hot so I look at the Hub and it tells me that the GPU, not CPU, GPU is at 92C!!! the vents were hardly even going! Thanks for the reply. Discrete graphics is a GPU that is a separate from the processor. Discrete graphics has its own dedicated memory that is not shared with the CPU. Since discrete graphics is separate from the processor chip, it consumes more power and generates a significant amount of heat. If it's anything other than gaming, the 'hybrid GPU' solution is fine. Hybrids can offer a slight advantage cooling over your typical fan-only designs. @@HPSupport yeah i have already done that three times, from what i can see my laptop transferred from 500gb to a 2tb ssd, and used the 500gb in a different PC for my msi, now i bought a new HP omen 30L pc, i took out the 500gb wiped it clean as from the msi pc, then tried to add back from windows c drive back to the 500gb and run the 2 TB ssd then as just a holder for gaming, the problem is i couldnt only download what would fit from windows and the command center because through using a clone it was showing as more than 500gb, so i thought ill clone my ssd from my new 30L pc and put that in to the laptop and wipe the 2tb cleaned again so nothing on there, but now it just shows as my pc not my laptop on the command center ether way i try?? i hope that makes sense? i do have to say sorry to say HP service is not very nice at all for help considering both are still covered well the laptop for the next 8 days left and pc a few months laft, service is very good at all, but nice to you better guiker reply to you than the site,
I have not unboxed my 45l i9 14900 yet, but I found out about the Intel glitch with the microcode update coming "soon". I asked support they said I could lower the frequency to 5Ghz until the microcode patch is available. I assume HP Gaming Hub will be fairly straight forward just asking if there is any advice on setting the voltages to get there?

+weq Solution one- download (speccy) It'll tell you your motherboard name, google it to check if it has a graphics card slot that is welded in place or is one that can be changed. If yes then go onto crucial.co.uk it should help to tell you what graphics card you're best upgrading to or if you know your stuff then get whichever you like. solution two - if your card is soldered into place then just buy a new one. Remember if you're going to open up your laptop chances are your warranty will be void.

When I plug in 2nd screen my performance is boosted at least twice (when I set the 2nd screen as main screen). Your best bet is to go through these 3 solutions: Control Panel Advanced power plan settings and changing the system cooling policy Activating HP CoolSense Setting Fan Always On in the BIOS Let me know if you need help with these solutions. Setting the Fan to always on in the BIOS will ensure that the fans are running at max all the time until you turn it back off. This may be helpful during gaming-only sessions.

I got my omen 17 yesterday and was all good until i updated my omen gaming hub with latest version on The site and The thermals are just trash now ....before with The stock omen version installed (win 11 home btw factory installed btw) I had no issue top for cpu was 83 degrees and 73 for gpu în demanding games...now în The same games I have over 90+ cpu I saw even 99 degrees and 82 for gpu...something îs very wrong with this New update of omen and I need suport...how can u help me?

I have a omen laptop (2020) but the most of choices are missing.
Also every time I update omen gaming hub my laptop goes 2-3 deggres celsius up. After a year my system goes 30 C ++ on cpu, and 15 C++ on system. You make me think that this your target in order to buy more often laptops. This problem is also common with some of my friends, cause they have omen laptops. The thermal problem has became the main reason I will never buy hp. The hp support service after so much tries and times doesn't help me.

why with the new update does my omen 15 (2020) 2060 RTX, 16 GB Ram and i5 10300h and since the last update of the omen hub it doesnt let me modify the intensity of the fans, its the only thing that bugs me of the new update because the rest is good, comfort mode is nice and finally added and the rest is nice, only thing is fans and the fact that it tells me that my Cpu temps are unavailable. At first I didn't care about it but then I put it in performance mode and fired up a game and after 1 match I feel that the laptop is pretty hot so I look at the Hub and it tells me that the GPU, not CPU, GPU is at 92C!!! the vents were hardly even going! Is this a Omen Hub problem or is it a problem with my laptop? Please help I want to play but I don't want my pc to get destroyed because of stupid Omen Hub. Thanks.

Network Booster: Prioritize your game’s network data to enable the strongest connection for your games.
Overclocking: Reach epic performance by modifying CPU settings (Select OMEN PCs only).
Performance Control: Adjust power and thermal settings to match the style of your gameplay.
Hence, in order to use/apply certain settings or feature from the app you will need to allow the Omen Hub app to make changes to your windows.

Discrete graphics is a GPU that is a separate from the processor. Discrete graphics has its own dedicated memory that is not shared with the CPU. Since discrete graphics is separate from the processor chip, it consumes more power and generates a significant amount of heat.
If it's anything other than gaming, the 'hybrid GPU' solution is fine. Hybrids can offer a slight advantage cooling over your typical fan-only designs. The issue can come in to play depending on your case and the amount of room you have for placement and airflow to the rad.

my gaming hub does not have the option to control the fans, my model is 15-dc1xxx , i have followed your guide to cleanup, it did not resolve the issue, i live in a warm climate, the omen laptop overheats and crashes when i try to open a game, basically i cannot game.
i need to have the option to max the fan speed manually, because the automated control does not provide an adequate fan curve for my climate , my omen laptop is clean, i am using a Zalman fan stand, i cleaned the fans , please enable this option in my gaming hub, i don't understand why you would discriminate me by providing me with lesser software.

@@HPSupport yeah i have already done that three times, from what i can see my laptop transferred from 500gb to a 2tb ssd, and used the 500gb in a different PC for my msi, now i bought a new HP omen 30L pc, i took out the 500gb wiped it clean as from the msi pc, then tried to add back from windows c drive back to the 500gb and run the 2 TB ssd then as just a holder for gaming, the problem is i couldnt only download what would fit from windows and the command center because through using a clone it was showing as more than 500gb, so i thought ill clone my ssd from my new 30L pc and put that in to the laptop and wipe the 2tb cleaned again so nothing on there, but now it just shows as my pc not my laptop on the command center ether way i try?? i hope that makes sense? i do have to say sorry to say HP service is not very nice at all for help considering both are still covered well the laptop for the next 8 days left and pc a few months laft, service is very good at all, but nice to you better guiker reply to you than the site,

I have not unboxed my 45l i9 14900 yet, but I found out about the Intel glitch with the microcode update coming "soon". I asked support they said I could lower the frequency to 5Ghz until the microcode patch is available. I assume HP Gaming Hub will be fairly straight forward just asking if there is any advice on setting the voltages to get there?

@@HPSupport Thanks, I also found this post that speaks about the very issue. Hopefully HP/Intel would not void a warranty for trying to save the CPU from it's own flawed microcode until the microcode update this month. Any input appreciated, looks like it can be done by adjust the multiplier.

Can I somehow switch graphics from hybrid to discrete on hp pavilion 15-bc408nw?
+weq Solution one- download (speccy) It'll tell you your motherboard name, google it to check if it has a graphics card slot that is welded in place or is one that can be changed. If yes then go onto crucial.co.uk it should help to tell you what graphics card you're best upgrading to or if you know your stuff then get whichever you like. solution two - if your card is soldered into place then just buy a new one. Remember if you're going to open up your laptop chances are your warranty will be void.

When I plug in 2nd screen my performance is boosted at least twice (when I set the 2nd screen as main screen). My question is: can I do it without 2nd screen plugged and if not then what is the real reason?

1) In the search box, type and open "Uninstall a Program".
2) Look for OMEN Command Centre.
3) Right-click to uninstall.
4) Restart the computer.
5) Install the OMEN Command Centre from here: bit.ly/3eDMKOF

Quick question, how do i connect an omen monitor to the omen gaming hub, because for some reason it doesnt do that. The omen hub was preinstalled in my omen 17 laptop and now igot a omen monitor 25 but the gaming hub doesnt recognize the monitor.

Worst thing about HP laptops OMEN/Victus is HP fails to keep the video drivers updated and because their vendor locked. Impossible to download from AMD/INTEL/NVIDIA own sites.

Laptop is running hot at 95c but still haven't gotten the undervolting option in gaming hub. Model: Omen 15-dc1088wm (i7 9750h GTX 1660ti)
Please reply. My BIOS, Gaming hub and OMEN SDK are all updated and still I don't see the undervolting option. Atleast specify if certain laptops are supporting this feature.

I have a hp pavilion gaming desktop(Tg01) and I want to turn off the green led light but it says I need to update omen control center because it’s out of date, so I updated it and it still says I need an update. I can’t turn off the light, and I can’t access the network boosting page

+Swarit Laptops usually don't have software that allows fan speed change.
Your best bet is to go through these 3 solutions:
Control Panel Advanced power plan settings and changing the system cooling policy
Activating HP CoolSense
Setting Fan Always On in the BIOS

Setting the Fan to always on in the BIOS will ensure that the fans are running at max all the time until you turn it back off. This may be helpful during gaming-only sessions.
Hi. I recently bought hp victus 16 and i dont know how to set it up for gaming. I plan to use it to play Genshin Impact.
So according to this video, i just need to choose "performance" in performance control and thats it? Is that correct? I did on mine and fans speed are on auto.
I am kinda worried cause when i started playing, it was the first time i heared and felt the fans working and the laptop was a little bit warm. Is that normal? Was that a correct setup for it? What are the acceptable temperatures of the gpu and the cpu in System vitals should i keep an eye on?

I got my omen 17 yesterday and was all good until i updated my omen gaming hub with latest version on The site and The thermals are just trash now ....before with The stock omen version installed (win 11 home btw factory installed btw) I had no issue top for cpu was 83 degrees and 73 for gpu în demanding games...now în The same games I have over 90+ cpu I saw even 99 degrees and 82 for gpu...something îs very wrong with this New update of omen and I need suport...how can u help me?

Hi, i have a victus gaming laptop. On my keyboard i have the annoying omen key. I want to remap it as the home button, omen gaming hub is useless for me because i use my pc for coding and in minor part for gaming. I tried with powertoys but it doesn't recognise it as a key, i think it act like the fn key. Someone can help me?

But the issue is with omen gaming hub
I can't use the camera and voice optimizer in another app like in omen hub the camera has some background effects like blurring and some background images and I cannot use it in other app like while using Omegle there's no effect in the background so what can I do so I can get the effects!!

@@HPSupport Caso 5128687623 han quedado en llamar lo cual no han echo,,todavia sigo esperando y no han echo nada, ah sido la peor experiencia de servicio al cliente que eh tienido a mis 40 años de edad. Confié en una compañia que lo que me ah demostrado es que no tiene decencia en cumplir con lo que dicen. Eso no se hace, ya esta bueno que estas compañias multimillonarias abusen del mas debil, del que talvez no es youtuber o famoso y el que no cumple con eso,es facil ignorarlo..Y soy de Puerto Rico,, caí una vez , pero dos no caigo..No cumplieron desde un principio osea, ya no confio mas en ustedes,, al Robot de las disculpas que no pierda el tiempo que el daño ya me lo hicieron.

Change the performance of your OMEN notebook to the mode that works best for the task you are performing. The notebook remains in Default mode until you switch to comfort mode or performance mode.

@@HPSupport H;i,no prob or techical issues at all just a little bit confused about the high temps of cpu and gpu in omen 25l because i have another 2 pc that i built alone and have way lower temps while gaming,i know that 25l is hot box and i just asked if the undervolting will be available in OGH app.
This is the serial number of pc 8CG21521YO (i dont know if the last is letter or number)

+Ahsan Qureshi What is the version of your OGH right now ? It should be v 1101.2291.5.0. It is not a tab itself, ONLY when you click to the main menu. If NOT, your machine may NOT support Light Studio at all.
